VS Seeker and the Pokétch. Two awesome features that I miss a lot.

I liked the Pokétch and the PokéGear a lot. The C-Gear was a very, very poor follow-up.
(and unfortunately it will most probably come back in B2W2)

Hopefully, the C-Gear will have more features then in BW. I like the Poketch because it come in handy a majority of the time due to it plethora of features. I wish the C-Gear was more like it. You know like how a phone has apps the same can apply to the C-Gear.

At least we didn't have to go into the Pokemon center to trade and battle anymore. I really liked how streamlined they made that.

The Poketch was gimmicky, with some useful apps. The C-gear was more practical by virtue of the ^above^ qualities alone. Although I suppose this stuff was only useful if you had people you could trade and battle with in person.

I did like the Pokegear, but mostly for the radio. Phone calls could be (really) tedious.

Yeah, making the Pokemon Centers and Pokemon Mart was a wise choice on Game Freak behalf. In my opinion, the C-Gear needed more features to actually call it useful I mean I appreciate the fact that I could battle and or trader whenever I wanted but it needs. The Pokegear was mostly useful for its radio as the phone calls were often quite annoying and obtrusive.

That is a good point, but I've found that EV training will get your pokemon liking you anyways.

This is true but an upgrade to the C-Gear will only to seek to elaborate on the game's epicness not dampen it.

I've got nothing against expanding the C-gear. In fact, it makes sense for there to have been several upgrades to the C-gear, considering the two year gap.

So long as trading and battling through infra-red are still there, I'm perfectly happy.

I would love a poketch c-gear fusion. Gfreak do it up!

I personally liked the pokenav as well. The rebattling was easier then gsc. It really started the all in one poke helper.

I bet you're the lonely type of Pokefan, with no one to trade/battle/entralink in person with. Even if you don't actually know anyone, the C-gear finds people near you who are currently playing Pokemon, even if their DS is in sleepmode. I had a lot of fun with the C-gear during my freshman year in high-school.

You'll notice I didn't mention the X-transceiver. That didn't have much use.

Some kyurem news should be here, and that's basically it. I think. For all we know this guy is just apathetic and couldn't care less to give us anything noteworthy.

Sadly, it isn't a new thing that Pokemon is better if you have friends to connect with. That's always been true. But it doesn't stop us 'lonely' fans from being a little annoyed that the C Gear does practically nothing for us like the Poketch used to. The most mine does is serve as a pretty touch-screen wallpaper thanks to its skin.

And I'm guessing you need a 3DS to unlock the C Gear's ability to find other C gears near you? Either that or there was literally no-one in my university who played Pokemon, because I carried that damn thing around for *weeks* in my bag in sleep mode [aging DS lite] -_-

~ I really hope we get the C Gear before the 1st badge this time around, although I'm not banking on it. I don't want to have to win my first badge with fodder while waiting to transfer over my party via eggs.

Obviously, he won't spill everything on the issue. I think he knows that people are very eager for information so he's teasing us with bits of information.

We've yet to see the scans. We don't even know how many pages are dedicated to this game.
