I buy DS only to play Pokemon games. In fact, because of that, I choose to buy only Pokemon Special Edition DS, since I only use them for Pokemon games anyway.
That's a good point. Maybe, I will do the same.

Masuda posted a new entry on his blog recently. You can read it here: http://www.gamefreak.co.jp/blog/dir_english/?p=561
I am particularly curious about this one:
"A new battle mechanism that allows your Pokémon to become even more powerful when the bonds you share grow stronger."
Higher friendship nets you more EXP perhaps?
Man... They will probably make the music for the new games with real instruments (aka orchestrated). That sucks.

Isn't that GOOD ? Don't tell me you want the beeps and scratches from gen 1 and 2.

The two most popular Nintendo franchises besides Pokémon (Mario and Zelda) had orchestrated music in their last major installments (Mario Galaxy 1/2 and Zelda Skyward Sword), so it is definitely possible to happen the same with Pokémon. And no, there is nothing wrong with real instruments, but video game music with real instrument usually suck (in my opnion, of course). They probably wont, actually. If they'd had any intention of doing so they would have with D/P/P. There's nothing wrong with real instruments, though.
That's perfectly respectable music as well, you know.
@Nyarlathotep : Nor am I saying that the Computer made music is bad. That's basically saying that all pokemon music is bad ( which is not true at all ). I'm saying that orchestrated is fine with me as well.

You thought right.I thought the music on Black 2 (and White 2 I guess as I only own Black 2) was the best music of all the main series pokemon games to date!
