I would like it if we finally get a dark type gym. That is the only type that doesn't have a gym yet and would be better than having another rock/ground gym

I think if there are a few dark types then they will have a gym but i think it will be either gym 7 or 8

Yes, please. Puzzles are my favorite part of the gym besides maybe the gym battles themselves.

But the problem is that previous First Gyms lacked choice in fighting Trainers as well as forcing to battle Trainers. Puzzles should be incorporated into the first gym to make better puzzles as the trainer progress through the region's late gyms. Puzzles like Burgh's, Clay's, Flamnery's, and Koga's were very good puzzles in my opinion because they presented a challenging gauntlet between me and the leader.
A Dark gym's puzzle may seem to easy by using the same puzzle in Clay's B2W2 gym because of the darkness and escalators and tracks.

Or a Dark gym can utilize a variation of Fantina's Platinum gym by having the challenger use flashlights, and they have to watch out for pitfalls, in which Juan's gym basement may be used so that the Trainer must battle trainers in the pitfalls.

I hope they manage to sort out some of the breeding issues I have this gen

I think if your ditto has Imposter it should be able to breed with male Hidden Ability pokemon and produce a Hidden ability Baby as its acting as a female and I think Pokemon that are clear counterparts should be able to produce male and female offspring from both species like Braviary/Madibuzz, Tauros/Miltank and Nidoqueen should be allowed to breed its not fair she has to remain eggless while all these young nidorans are reproducing

I would like to see...a city underneath the sea which could be accessed by the HM move dive

Well we did have Sootopolis, sort of. You had to go back up, but still.

A city underneath the ground which could be accessed by the HM move Dig

It's not too unrealistic, no?

While I don't think we'll have a city you dig to, I wouyld like it if it was used as an HM in caves and such.

Its beyond me as to why we haven't had a Dark type gym. Seriously Gamefreak, if you can g one game without a water gym and put in a Dark gym instead, I'll be happy.

One thing I would really like to happen is for GF to include visuals of Diglett coming out of the ground to use its attacks. I honestly care about that more than most things because the neverending Diglett discussion is dumb as hell.

Watch them make it like the first Gym and the Leader will use something like Poochyena and Purrloin, and give Snarl as a TM. Could you imagine the rage?

I'd actually love that, though.

If i was GF id completely freak people out with it and have a horror movie type claws appear from belowthe ground and then it would crawl out of the ground and run at the other pokemon with stumpy little legs and a long gangly arms screaming

Not sure what this has to do with what I was saying, but I'll bite. I agree with you on the puzzles needing to be challenging, but they don't necessarily have to represent their element. Past gym themes pretty much confirm that. I mean, could you honestly say that a rotating bar puzzle has anything to do with Flying types? Or an underground club having anything to do with Poison? It's themed after the leader, not necessarily the gym type. For instance, if they had made Grimsley a gym leader, his gym puzzle could be something casino based or something, that doesn't really relate to the Dark type element that well. So I don't think you should be too worried about them coming up with Dark type gym themes any more than you would for any other type.

I think at this point people will be happy to see a Dark type gym at any point in the game. And they could do something like that and give you access to some early game Bug and Fighting types to take it down, although I think Dark would be better suited for a mid to late game gym (I'd say around 6-8 would be reasonable).

GF can do it.

While it's nice to see something like those, it just seems inappropriate for the Pokemon setting...
I can see them as ancient ruins... but to be actual cities... better left for the movies.

Yeah, I guess that's a more correct approach, ruins that is. If they did do this maybe new ancient pokemon or fossils, or maybe that's where the new evil team decides to wreak havoc.

You have got to be kidding me. Because a Gym Leader has one Pokémon of it's type that is a dual type, it is automatically that type?

That's just stupid. That's like calling Lorelei a Psychic Type E4 because she uses Jynx, or calling Koga a Steel Type E4 Member because he uses Forretress, or Sabrina a Bug Type Gym Leader just because of Venomoth.

Really, no offense, but that's just plain stupid.

And, Water has been represented by the League in all Five Gens, yes. But so have Electric, Fire, and Ice.

Plus, you forgot that Cress and Marlon are Water Type Gym Leaders.
(Forgot to put)

Now, hold on a little!!!
*well..well..*
As you see... I know what are you talking about... but my point is... for the seventeen pokémon-types from the second until Gen V(maybe more in Gen VI), here goes:
But first a little history-time: Second Gen has the worst new pokedex entry until now, its a fact. And I'll talk just about the Gen II. Now the main article:

*When you go fight Chuck, he has a Primeape and a Poliwarth, why a Poliwarth? Why not Tyroge/Machamp/Hitmonchan/Hitmonlee or even a HERACROSS?? But why a pokemon from Gen I and with water-type as primary-type? Chuck disapoints me.

*Clair.. I can recall what I said... since Kingdra is the only Dragon-type available in Gen II, and otherwise as Lance, Clair is a genuine Dragon-type Master, nor a Dragon-move master.

*I would certanly blame Pryce, for having a Seel(a pure water) and Dewgong on his team, bu since we have Delibird and Sneasel with Ice types and both from Gen II, it would be my first shame, but he has an Ice/Ground(Poliswine) as his last pokémon and kinda worth it.

Obs: And for Cress and Marlon, I did not forseen this, but as a new Generation with a hole new pokedex, I cannot blame, but in Jotho?!

PS: Do not blame me because of the pokémon SECONDARY types(I love all of this 500+ pocket monsters).. but the lack of choose the producers made to them is that what tick me off!! And that why I cannot stand another water type gym leader every generation has one, even as secondary-type.

NO NO NO!!!! I can't live without a DARK GYM

Why not a DARK CHAMPION!!!
I would replace the Fire Gym to a Dark Gym, but Dark pokémon needs to level up a bunch to know their signature moves, so it has to be the most upper!!
And another thing, this list made me like... 1 hour to make and remake... soo.. Dark as champion is my hunch ^^

I think a Dark type gym is better because an average champion should use a multitude of types. That would make the champion sound sloppy because his/her Pokemon all share a common weakness.

I said this before but who would like being able to fly like this-> http://www.serebii.net/ranger3/flynavigate.png
I think it's would be a whole new way to explore the region and maybe a chance for some more nice flying types

If anything, it should be an option B, Fly was intended to get from point A to B quickly, and having something like that would just slow you down even more (especially if you're doing side quests and let's not forget, we already have a 20-30 hour range to expect for the main game anyway). I'm also not sure how encounters would work since you can't really say that expecting them in the cloud makes any sense. Add in that you'll need a separate battle scenery just for the sky as well as realistic models showing the trainer with the Flying-type pokemon and encounters (lol Poliwrath in the sky...?). And it already sounds like a chore...
