So while on their way out of Lumiose City, Ash and Co. visited Professor Sycamore, who enthusiastically showed them his latest gem: a Key Stone and a Mega Stone, and he wanted to see if his Garchomp would Mega Evolve. Man, do I really want to use a Mega Garchomp after watching this episode.

In hindsight, I kind of wish that we had seen Shirona return so that her Gablias could've been the one who Mega Evolved here instead of Platane-hakase's Gablias, which was tawdry by comparison.
