Gary's Cheerleaders

I don't pay attention to the anime, have they removed Gary's group of cheerleaders that appeared in the first season?

I hope so, they were so annoying. I mean... Gary might THINK he's all high and mighty.. but did those cheerleaders help? No, they made it worse!

I can still remember one of their cheers.

"Gary, Gary! He's our man, if he can't do it no one can!"

........

Please tell me that the Cheerleaders fell off of a cliff or something... >.<

They showed up in the Johto league didn't they? At least as far as I remember.

Now that he's a Pokemon researcher now, it's safe to say that his cheerleaders have been removed from the anime.

And yes, they did reappear in the Jouto League when Satoshi went up against Shigeru.

Well, I meant the newer episodes. Like the Hoenn episodes for example.

I've seen the Johto episodes and I think I could have saw those cheerleaders. I hope I didn't.

They certainly never appeared in Chronicles, which was the last time I saw Gary.

I guess they all just went back to their day jobs. Whatever they were.

Gary's role in the show ended after Ash beat him. He's not in any Hoenn episodes.

He got one special episode where it shows him as a researcher like Oak, but other than that he's been written off the series.

They've been pretty inconsistant with Shigeru's girlfriend-tachi. When he showed up at the end of the Orange Islands arc, they were gone in favor of a more mysterious loner type Shigeru, and then just magically appeared again at the Joutou League.

In the fanservice episode that EVERY ANIME SHOULD HAVE. In my opinion.

Seriously. Every anime usually has a beach/fanservice episode, and we haven't had one in ages... ;_;

Didn't Gary's cheerleaders leave after the Kanto League? They didn't appear in the last two Orange Islands episodes, or in Johto if I recall. They probably will never appear again, or even Gary for that matter. The writers gave him a chance to show up after the Hoenn League and he never did.

No, they did appear in Jouto. In the battle between Shigeru and Satoshi in the Jouto League, that is.

The cheerleaders were reptitive but think of how many other things were a million times worse. Anyway they seem gone now since Gary was written out.

I don't think Gary is written off yet. Maybe we'll see in in one of the Battle Frontier epsiodes or in one of the epsiodes that will be base off from Pokemon Diamond and Pearl.

Anyways, it is good that the cheerleaders are not there no more. When I first started watching Pokemon way long ago, I felt sorry for Ash because of how Gary thinks he is all superior already becasue of his cheerleaders, more people coming to see him get his first Pokemon, and how he is mean to Ash.

Erm, because he isn't in the show anymore? Nor has he been mentioned once in the actual AG series?

He got one Hoso that was basically meant to show his new career as a researcher, and that's about it.

The rivalry was resolved, he has no purpose on the show anymore which is why the writers wrote him out.

I was indifferent to them, they were funny at the start during Kanto but I guess the writers wanted to concentrate him more as a trainer rather than a hate figure once the animé got more mature.
