Gauntlet: Dark Legacy

Dani posting in Video Games!? That hasn't happened in about two years!

Anyways, I used to play Gauntlet IV on Sega and when I saw Dark Legacy I just had to get it. I've beaten it so far with Yellow Valkyrie and am now going through it with Blue Jester. I am about to start the sand stages with him.

Anyone else think this game pwnz?

I have it for the GC, but I don't really like it. Maybe I should complete it sometime.

I've gotten the one for the PS2. Beaten dozens of times with my Red Dwarf. Anyone gotten the new Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows? Kind of dissapointed IMO. Goes into a story mode, giving you no free regin of what level you want, but the combos and online play is nice.

Hmm i remember years ago playing Dark Legacy on PS2 i had lv99 Medusa with 9999 hp and i dominated must play it on gamecube if it still in stores

Kev - I've heard of it but haven't played it. Dark Legacy is good enough for now.

Valkerion - Considering I bought it last month I'd say it's still in some stores. ;P

I don't know if I'd really suggest it anyways (Seven Sorrows). The graphies and gameplay are amazing but it going into story mode, it kind hurts it IMO. I'd probably give it a 7/10.

To be honest, I don't remember my character type, but I know I am up to the sand staged...halfway through them I believe. Jeeze, I haven't play that game in forever.

This game definitely does pwn. I remember I played this game for hours on hours. I'm pretty sure that I was a red dwarf and that I got him to level 100. After that I deleated my file by accident and then I tried switching off between an Ogre and a Jester. I think for both of those guys I got to that dream realm (I think that's what it was called). But man, that game ruled.

Oh, well then it must have been 99. Its been so long since I played that I must have forgotten. Anyway, I think it was the level where you've got like gold armor or something.

after my medusa was maxed out i moved towards the others i remember getting my knight to the ice levels or something

Have you guys ever had it where the characters could hurt each other, have four characters play at the same time then just kill them off at the beginning of the levels so you can go through and have like four times the things? I do that, it's fun.

You were allowed to hurt each other during the game? Is there a setting or something cause I never remember being able to do that?

One of my favorite games of all time. I remember me and my brother would stay up all night playing this game. I got my Yellow Wizard to level 99. And my brother got his Yellow Warrior to level 99. Then I started my own and got my Red Dwarf to level 80 something. I also got my Blue Jackel to level 64. I regret selling it.

Kev - You know at the beginning where it says Start and Options? Pick options and I think it mentions multiplayer mode or something then you can choose normal (not hurt), stun others, or hurt others.

Chief - Buy another copy. ;P

I don't know. It kind defeats the whole purpose of GL...but imagine the funny moments I'll have using Fissure to kill my brother or one of my cousins once they get here.

I beat the game today with Jester. I might use him to go and get the characters I haven't unlocked yet. I've unlocked four out of nine so far.

I think me, my brother and my cousins have unlocked all the secert charaters so far. I don't really like playing as them much. They don't change armor or anything like that. I usually play the Cathedel. I love the music and wiping the floor with all the baddies.

I liked Gauntlet when I was, like, 10. I played Legends on N64 and Dark Legacy on Cube. Same gameplay, just different graphics and new characters, that's about it. Both are repetition central.

I always played as Valkyrie. Stronger and slower than average. There's no real reason to be any faster than a Valkyrie.

I have completed it with all characters at Lv. 99. It wasn't the greatest game, but it was okay. It gave me something to do last school year.
