Gauntlet of the Greek God Guardians

Gauntlet of the Greek God Guardians (Rated R)

The Greek Gods... arguably the most famous of the ancient polytheistic religions known in the western world. With the rise of Christianity, they were laid forgotten, their rule having come to an end. It is now the modern era. A time of even more problems than the ones of yesteryear... A time of insecurity, unknowningness and where there was doubt. Security is needed. Hope is needed. And so... awakening from their slumber, The Greek Gods awaken. They look upon the world as it nis and they decide no more. Too long as humanity been left alone without guidance or divine rewards or punishment. Too much has happened and it was time for someone to put a stop to it.It is time for the Modern Age to end. It was time for the return of the Gods. Through the upcoming storm of fire, lightning and iron, a new Platinum Age will be created. But who will lead them the Gods? So much has changed that the old rules can barely apply anymore. While Zeus decided to retain his power, others began to voice their opinions while the others simply keep their interest in silence.

Rather than fight it amongst themselves, why not let the mortals decide?

With that, a challenge was issued. A god will select a champion and if that champion is the one who frees them, that they become a god while their benefactor becomes the new overseer of all.

And so with that, many of the major players of the Greek Gods sent out a fraction of their power to worthy mortals. While they slumbered, the humans in their dreams recieved a messege from their god or goddess and awoke to find themselves marked. Armed with their newfound powers, they must the Artifact of their God before completing the task of reaching Mt Olympus with it, all while fighting one another.

However, humanity has grown in ways the Greek Gods did no anticpiate and the fate of them and the world lies in the hand of these young men and women...

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Howdy, DVB here! Decided to create this along with my other RP as a way to try and bring back life here! So the gist is that you play a human blessed with the power of your God and you have to try and find the Artifact associated with your God (such as Posidon's Trident or Apollo's Lyre) and bring it to Mt. Olympus. All while fighting one another.

We'll start off in our homes and we have to all wander the world and solve hints and such to try and find the artifacts. Use the powers in any way you can to gain an upper hand, but do not upset your god or goddess...

Now, some gods have obvious powers while others are trickier. Use your creativity. Now, I have a list of deities, but if you really want to use a minor one, shoot me a PM and we'll talk.

And now... the gods and goddesses...

Aphrodite- Champion Andre Bellamy (Monster Guy)
Apollo- Felice Violenza (*Jean Grey*)
Ares- Lovina Violenza (*Jean Grey*)

Nice list to choose from, right? Anyway, here are some notes:

- the gender of the deity doesn't have to match the gender of the person (except with the possible exception of Artemis).
- Deities who are married with one another are drawn together, though the closeness depends on the duo, the mortals and the gender.
- Work together! Almost anything could happen!
- Champions can identify one another by instinct
- Have some fun!

Now, here's your sign- up sheet and I hope to see you guys.

Here is my sign-up!

Name: Diego Vendrix
Gender: Male
Age:21

Benefactor Deity: Hades
Artifact: Helm of Darkness
Powers: Superhuman physiology (all the chapions have this,), Earth Manipulation, Monetary Manipulation

Appearance: He stands at five foot, 11 inches. He has low cheekbones, a boyish face and with slight stubble. His hair is black with subtle patches of very dark brown, mainly in the tips. His hair is kept trimmed and neat, however the ends on the back of his head are messy and spiky. He has slightly bigger than average eyes, which are chocolate brown. His eyes are large enough that they are noticeably larger than average, even by a margin amount. His skin is a pale shade of olive skin that could be seen from his face.

He wears a black T-shirt with a gold yingyang symbol on front and a white silhouette of Quetzalcoatl, portrayed as an Ouroboros with the crescent moon and sun in the center of the loop on the back. He has on some black cargo pants that has pockets to carry anything he needs to and black tennis shoes with a red spiral on them. He will sometimes different shoes, such as Nike Dart 10. He also has on a digital watch with him. He does change shirts to different slightly bizarre shirts, but overall this is kinda his basic attire. He will wear a fleece hoody if he is cold and will sometimes bring an earband and or a scarf. He also has his glasses on him.

Personality: Diego is a warm and emotional person with an occasion fiery temper and an adventurous spirit. He is very empathetic and has a great desire to help people out. Beneath this outgoing facade, Diego is a shy and quiet person. He is also a very artistic individual as he will often draw whenever he gets the chance to do so. He is very loyal, but can come on as clingy, especially around girls. He also likes to cook. When in serious situations, he knows it is time for him to use his intelligence and strengths at their full capacity. He is very creative and known to be devious for his ideas. He is regarded as being very smart in many aspects. He also has a fascination with mythology, the supernatural, the sciences, arts, cooking and the traditional geeky things such as anime and manga. In fact, he tends to emulate the qualities of his heroes to help bolster his self-confidence.

He has his faults, however. Some of these are being blunt, sarcastic, laziness and often day-dreaming during certain moments and saying a weird comment afterward. Beyond that, he also has moments of self-righteousness, showing frustrated toward some of the less-than-savory characters, but holds his tongue when he needs to. He is prone to snarky or blunt comments and is often unable to figure out what to do in situations with people so will often mess things up, though he means no harm. More so, he seems to have a dark side, appearing only in his night mares. Despite this or because of it, he tries to overcome these traits to become a better person.

History: Born of Mexican heritage, Diego does not have of an interesting background. Born on the West Coast, his parents move to the Southeast a few months after his brother is born. He grew up being a bright but eccentric and lonely kid. Not able to understand that he was different and why the kids viewed him strangely, he took it in stride though his short temper would come out and showed that that the neglect gave him a growing self-loathing. In his mind, for every one of his age to avoid him and not being able to make friends until much later, made him wonder if something was the matter. Believing something was wrong with him, he repressed this self-loathing with optimism. He continued moving forward, though he became sulky and aggressive during middle school.

This coupled with his brother’s normalcy, growing contrasting personality and popularity made the two clash and a rift was created that Diego ultimately regretted and while on better terms, still views this as a shame. Regarding his parents, his father worked in Operations for a computer company while his mom was a homemaker. Diego loved both his parents but closer to his father because he was a very competent, patient and understanding man, despite his stubborn attitude and need for control. Diego loves his mom and anyone who offends her will be given the traditional Mexican treatment, i.e. a tongue lashing a chance for a beatdown. However, he views her slightly as a ditz and is exasperated by her occasional lack of practicality and frugality, though he sympathizes with her emotional side, due to being the same way.

Being left to his own devices with no real friends until later, Diego took to some of the nerd hobbies, mainly reading, video gaming and anime and manga. Being shy around some adults and never finding a mentor in the form an older peer, he centered his principles on heroes of various fictions. Emulating some of their properties and adopting their determination, they helped Diego forge a moral code. This combined with his stubbornness and intelligence, made him come off as someone who was devious in arguing and a smartass at times. In high school, as people matured and got used to him, Diego began mellowing out. However, he still holds a grudge to many a peer. To him, they did something wrong and the right thing to do would be to apologize. He does so and has often done so. This ratio adds to the self-loathing by making him think many things are because of his fault. This gradual compilation led to the formulation of a potential dark side. Retaining his assets while thriving on anger, sadness, revenge and other suppressed emotions , this is the side of him he does his best to restrain.

Ultimately, he finishes off high school with strong grades, the only Hispanic with honors and going to college. However, his lack of experience with social cues as well as lacking any psychological coaching until late teenagerdom, put him in odds regarding networking. Furthermore, his philosophical ways and quirky views of the world made it odd for him to decide what he wanted, viewing the world having gotten too complicated. He did managed to meet some good friends on line, his best friend having met him in real life a few times. However, he still longed to be a hero while also changing the world for the better, even if it meant by force.

He finally gets his answer when he dreams and sees Hades, marking him as his champion...

Monster Guy

Fairy type Trainer
Name: Andre Bellamy
Age: 18
Gender: Male

Benefactor Deity: Aphrodite
Artifact: Aphrodite's Belt: A golden belt, woven into an intricate lacelike design, that makes the wearer irresistible to others.
Powers:

Superhuman Physiology

Amokinesis: Andre has the ability to control the emotion of love and desire. With this ability, he can attract others simply by walking by, as well as manipulate the love of people, animals and other creatures, and detect love within others.

Charmspeak: Using his voice, Andre is able to influence others to do what he wants. Eventually, charmspeak wears off and the person has no recollection of why they did what they were commanded to do. People with strong wills or intentions are unaffected, and the more powerful the being, the stronger their resistance.

Beauty: Andre is able to radiate beauty, regardless of how he may look. This ability makes enemies have difficulty attacking him. He can change his appearance to fit the ideal perception of beauty of the person he is in the presence of.

Appearance: Andre is a tall young man, standing at exactly six feet. Although he doesn't like to do so, he excersises a little bit so that he doesn't look like a fat slob, and is physically fit and toned as a result. He doesn't spend too much time in the sun, claiming it is bad for your skin, and so he has a fair complexion. He keeps his blond hair short, and neatly styled at all times. There is never a hair out of place. He has a round boyish face, a small nose, and large baby blue, almond shaped eyes, which he claims are his best feature. His mouth is usually in some kind of smile. Except for his hair and eyebrows, he has no hair on his upper body. He's also pierced his earlobes so he can wear earrings.

Andre is very much into fashion. He likes expensive designer clothing, and he usually dresses more formally than kids his age. Being famous, he has a certain reputation to uphold, so most of his clothes are very expensive made by well-known designers. His wardrobe mostly consists of button down dress shirts, vests, trousers, and dress shoes. He even wears a tie and blazer often. He always keeps his clothes neat and tidy. It is rare to see him in a simple T-shirt and jeans, but he does own a few. His wardrobe contains a lot of bright colors, especially pink, his favorite color. He carries around a pink heart shaped messenger bag that has a red ribbon tied into a bow attached to it, and he occasionally wears a pair of pink, diamond encrusted, sunglasses. His favorite outfit is a pink dress shirt that fits him well, paired with a red vest over it. Around his neck is a red silk tie, and a burgundy blazer with gold buttons over that. On the bottom he wears beige trousers held up by a belt. His choice of footwear include a pair of black dress shoes with pink spats on them, and brown socks that go up to his calves. He accesorizes this with a pink beret on his head, and a pair of diamond stud earrings decorating his ears.

Andre has developed a taste for diamonds and gemstones. He will occasionally be seen wearing random pieces of jewelry every now and then, regardless of whether it was intended for a man or not. He enjoys experimenting with fashion, and likes trying out many different things including wearing women's clothing. He feels women get nicer clothes than men do, and it lets him get away with wearing more jewelry than a man can. He can pass for a convincing woman when he's all made up. He often wears lavender scented perfume.

Personality: First off, Andre has tastes that are usually considered femmine. His favorite color is pink, and a lot of his things are pink and have hearts on them. He likes fashion, and he has a taste for cute things, and he's not really emabrrased by it. He really doesn't understand why boys in this country have an issue with guys liking that kind of thing. He just guesses it's because they're insecure about their masculinity. Andre is very obsessed with beauty and looking good. As a movie star, he feels he has to maintain a certain image, and because people don't want to be friends with an ugly person. He always makes sure he is perfectly groomed before leaving the house, and as such it takes him a while to get ready in the morning. Because he puts so much effort into looking good, he hates getting dirty, as it ruins all the work he put in.

He really values his relationships. He goes to great lengths to make friends and fans everywhere he goes. He often attends parties to meet new people. Someone not wanting to be his friend upsets him, and he will try to make that person his friend whether they want to be or not. For the same reason, he also likes love and romance, and as such he comes across as a flirt. He openly hits on people (he's openly bisexual, so guys as well as girls) he considers to be attractive, though he is usually more polite about it then most guys, because he is genuinely looking for a relationship. He also likes pairing people up who he thinks would make a good couple, regardless of gender and orientation, and jokingly teasing the two involved.

He can be charming and manipulative when he wants to be. He uses his charm, charisma, and the occasional bribe to get what he wants from people. He knows just what to say to win people over, which sometimes helps him get his way in many situations. While he is polite and well-mannered, and typically acts friendly towards others, he treats people like objects to make himself feel better. He can be self-centered, and disregards how other people feel and what they need if it's not benefiting him somehow. It's not something he does consciously, it's just how he is. He was brought up believing that people's affections can be bought, and it's worked out for him so far.

Having become used to being given whatever he wants, Andre has been spoiled by wealth. He has an appreciation for the finer things in life. He wears expensive clothes, drives around in fancy cars, takes exotic vacations, and freely spends money like it grows on trees. He is very generous with his money, since he has so much of it, trading a a few dollars for something better is no problem. He's also found it much easier to woo people with money. He especially enjoys being famous, and being adored by many. He doesn't mind the the craziness that comes with being a cleberty either. Bad publicity is still publicity, as long as people are talking about you, then that's all that matters. Andre has always been accustomed to life on top. His worst fear is losing it all, whether that be ruining his movie career, or losing his hard earned friends.

He speaks with a noticeable French accent, and uses French words a lot. However, he can speak Englsh just fine.

History: Born in Paris, France, Andre's childhood is not what one would consider normal. His parents are both famous actors, and since his birth he's been in the lap of luxury. Due to his parents being famous actors, and therefore often busy, Andre rarely ever saw them. He was also homeschooled for a while, and was rarely able to leave the house. He felt lonely being in a big empty mansion with only caretakers that were too busy to keep the kid entertained. Andre's parents brought him expensive toys to make it up to him. For a while the shiny new toy would make him feel less lonely, but soon he would get bored of it, and the loneliness came back. He thought something better would solve the problem. When his parents announced a new trip, the young boy cried, and of course, his parents brought him a new, better, more expensive gift once they got back. The same thing happened, it would make him feel good for a while, but soon he'd get bored again. He would continue to ask and receive more and more expensive things throughout his childhood. It was great, and Andre grew accustomed to wealth and having anything he wanted on a whim. It was nice, but it still wasn't enough, the bad feelings still didn't go away.

At some point, his parents thought it was a good idea for him to start interacting with other kids, so they enrolled him in a private school. When Ande started going to school, and meeting other people his age, he got a lot of attention from them due to the fancy toys he had that they couldn't afford. At Recess, every kid wanted to play with him. Being with others made him feel just as good, if not better, than opening up a brand new toy. It was then he thought that if new toys won't help, then maybe people will. He made lots and lots of friends, and Andre was happy for a while. Soon his family had to move away, and Andre was transferred to a new school. Having lost all the friends he made, Andre was upset for a while, but he soon worked to make new friends in this new place, and he was happy again. Then his parents moved once more, and the cycle continued. He was never truly content though, because he always had to leave all his friends behind.

At the age of thirteen, Andre's family moved to Hollywood to further their careers. There, his parents encouraged their son to follow in their footsteps, and become an Actor. They put him in acting classes, and used their connections to pull a few strings, and get him a starring role in a major film. He didn't want to do this at first, but did it anyway to please his parents. While making the movie, he came to enjoy being on a movie set, and acting. When his first movie went to theaters, and became a box-office success, he enjoyed all the fame and attention it brought him. Or more specifically, he liked all the adoring fans. He also enjoyed the piles of money, expensive things, and all the glamour that being a movie star brings. He decided to pursue a film career, while also attending school when he wasn't filming. After doing that for a few years, he became as famous and successful as his parents. He is often chased by Papparazzi and crazed fans, and he is also often the subject of ridiculous rumors in gossip magazines. Usually, they involve him spending absurd amounts of money on something lavish, being seen at a party, or romance rumors with various other celeberties. (Not long after hitting puberty, he discovered how attractive people were, and the joys of love. Although he's never had a serious romantic relationship, much to his disappointment.) He doesn't mind all the craziness that much. As long as he has all his adoring fans, then all is well.

Andre has everything now, devoted fans, a luxurious life, and piles of money at his disposal. Despite this, he still isn't satisfied. He feels like something is missing, but he isn't sure what that is. Then, he had a dream about a beautiful woman claiming to be the goddess Aphrodite choosing him as her champion. She said that if he does what she asks successfully, she could make him truly happy by giving him what he really wants, true love.

Put me down for a reserve. I'm thinking Athena, but I might change my mind between now and the time I get my sign up done.

The plot looks a bit short. It might not be, but I don't want something happening to this.

Truth be told, I love Greek Mythology, but I almost passed this up until I saw Hecate and Pan on the list. Think I'll go for Hecate here. Can I have a reserve for Hecate?

And just a small thing. For your second note there ("Deities who are married with one another are drawn together, though the closeness depends on the duo, the mortals and the gender."), sure you want to say married there? This is Greek mythology. Aphrodite will be far closer to Ares, with whom she has multiple children, than her actual husband Hephaestus. This would probably work better either not at all or just based off of closeness of the gods and not there actual relationship.

@MonsterGuy: Accepted!

@Firebrand: RESERVED!

@Jean_Gray: I'll be honest, I'm kinda hesitant to accept your reserve considering your track record... However, considering we both had very busy finals weeks, I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt. RESERVED!

@CuriousHeartless: Someone else also reserved Hecate, but they also expressed doubt in joining so I will need to try and get an answer from them first.

Indomitable
Name: Claudia Renard
Gender: Female
Age: 23

Benefactor Deity: Athena
Artifact: Aegis Shield, a shield of bronze, three feet in diameter, polished to a mirror shine. The visage of a gorgon is emblazoned in the center.
Powers:
-Superhuman physiology
-Advanced tactical knowledge and knowledge of human weak points/pressure points
-Limited prescience: Claudia can see brief glimpses of things to come, though it is more akin to a Sherlock-scan intuition than actual clairvoyance. For example, she can take note of the tensing of fingers or the tightening of muscles in the arm or a minute bulge in the enemy's clothing to determine what the enemy will do next. Essentially, hyperobservation that can give Claudia the edge in combat.
-Bullet Time: Claudia can "phase shift" into a space allowing Claudia to move much more quickly than normal (to wit, 19 times faster), allowing her to dodge attacks and advance on enemies quickly. Technically she is moving through Planck space, operating briefly outside the realm of quantum relativity and passing through a higher dimensional plane. However, Claudia can only remain in "Bullet Time" for fifteen seconds of her time, and repeated entry into Planck Space over a short period of time results in dangerous side effects. It begins with nausea and steadily progresses through advanced stages of physical decay, eventually leading to complete shutdown of biological systems. Bullet Time is Claudia's strongest power, but also the most costly.

Appearance: Claudia is dark of hair, usually wearing it just below the shoulder. Her eyes used to be dark as well, but ever since becoming Athena's champion, her irises have become a steely gray. She is a little over average height, standing at 5' 7". She has a lean athletic build, a holdover from when she was a runner in high school, and she has worked to maintain her figure ever since. Claudia has a gravity around her, an intensity to her gaze that can make people a little nervous if not outright fearful. Her skin is rather pale, more from remaining inside doing research for her doctorate and preferring to work out in the gym than outside.

Claudia generally dresses in varying shades of black, gray or dark blue. Her most common outfit is a black short sleeve top with a pair of jeans, supplemented with a black leather bomber jacket in cold weather. She doesn't wear much makeup, just enough foundation and blush to keep the edge off her rather severe features, and only applying more when she has an important meeting with someone. She wears her hair down if she is in a social situation, but when she is working, she ties it up to keep it out of the way. She generally has a look of schooled impassivity verging on boredom, but for her intense stare. She makes no attempt to hide the frequently deep dark circles under her eyes, preferring instead to let the whole world know just how tired and irritable she is, so no one gives her any trouble.

Personality: Claudia is quiet and aloof. She is an academic at heart, and far more comfortable dealing with the theoretical than the practical. She would much rather spend her days in a college library studying old texts of political theory than taking to the battlefield herself, but since becoming Athena's champion, she has become a different woman. Within Claudia exists two distinct personas, the scholar and the warrior. It is not schizophrenia, as the two personas are not in conflict with each other in any way, and Claudia actively embraces both of her "halves", utilizing both simultaneously. Her scholarly side can quickly analyze a situation and determine the best course of action, while her warrior persona will swiftly and ruthlessly capitalize on it.

Claudia is quite arrogant, and it is in fact her fatal flaw. She earnestly believes she can create a better world, and she is willing to cut down anything and everything that stands in the way of her idea of a new golden age of humanity. She believes her knowledge of political and classical philosophy puts her on a level above the common man, and only she should be allowed to reconstruct the world. Though she imagines a utopian society, she is not afraid to employ Hobbesian means to achieve it. To Claudia, utopia justifies the means, and she will do anything to achieve her goal as the queen of the new era of humanity, guiding them out of the present dark age and into the light. Essentially, Claudia considers herself to be a messiah, and any who stand against her are nothing more than obstacles to be put down as quickly and ethically as possible.

History: Claudia was raised in coastal Maine by her mother. Her father walked out when she was a little girl, and she doesn't remember him that well anyway. Her mother was a successful lawyer, often called around the state to weigh in on important court cases. They were fairly well off, but Claudia's mother was not often home. When she was deemed old enough not to need a nanny anymore, Claudia was frequently home alone. She had a handful of neighborhood friends, but she preferred her own company anyway. She would spend her lonely afternoons reading or watching TV. As she got older, her mother sent her off to a prestigious boarding school in western Connecticut. Claudia detested it. Everyone there was plastic and fake, and she didn't get along with very many of the girls. She spent many hours in the library in the old books collection, lost among the words of 18th century writers, both fiction and philosophical discourse. Claudia's studies paid off, and she was accepted into several esteemed schools on substantial scholarships. Her mother wanted her to go to Harvard, study law and eventually follow in her footsteps. Claudia had other plans.

She ended up going to Boston College almost for free, where she double majored in Political Science and History, with concentrations in political philosophy and military history respectively. After graduating college, she went down to Washington DC for a time, using her mother's contacts to get herself a civilian internship in the Department of Defense. She spent a year there before returning to Boston to pursue her Masters and hopefully her doctorate in history. It was here that she received her vision of Athena, and Claudia eagerly accepted the offer to become the goddess's champion. For years Claudia had feared she would be forced to remain as a global bystander, one who could only analyze the seismic shifts in global politics. However, with Athena's power and patronage, Claudia could be global politics. She brokered a deal with Athena that should her efforts set Athena up as the new queen of the gods, Claudia would continue to serve as her head priestess on earth provided Athena used her power to set Claudia above the rest of humankind as queen, both warrior and philosopher in equal measure.

Okay, I got confirmation! Curious, I got you one Hecate! Also, because the champions are not the deities nor will they become them. The deities may pop up in visions and the champions can argue or even eventually turn against them.

This RPG sounds interesting! Drat, seems I missed out on the spot for Hecate... but I notice Persephone is still available, so I'll reserve that. My character will be very magic-oriented (which is Hecate's domain), so I imagine she'd be in quite a rivalry with Hecate's champion. I hope to get the signup done sometime this coming weekend, or Monday at the latest.

Ambrose does, however, also prefer to be alone sometimes. He's protective towards his friends, and would not hesitate putting his own life in danger to help someone else. He have a carefree attitude in general, and People would describe him as laidback without a single worry in the world.

Ambrose is also a sporty character, and enjoy going for hikes in nearby Mountains, roadtrips etc. He higly enjoy talking walks at night, as he likes the silent, peacefull feel the city have at night. He's an energic person, which is why he spend so much time on physical activitis like working out, bicycling. during his childhood and teens, his parents always took him out for hikes and trips, keeping him busy. Now that he have gotten older, however, he's starting to notice the joys of just relaxing at home With a good Movie or book.

Originally being French, ambrose speaks With a French accent.

History: Ambrose was born into a middle-class Family in France, and at an early age, it was Clear that Ambrose had a lot of energy. His parents had pretty good jobs. His father being a lawyer and his mother being a free lance photographer. Since his father had such a high rank in his workplace, he could afford to take entire weeks off to go on vacations and hikes With his Family. Though their youngest son, Vincent, didn't seem to like the concept of nature, Ambrose absolutly loved it. They would spend days climbing a mountain before camping on top. This cause Ambrose to miss out on School at times, falling a little behind the others. This prooved to be no problem, as ambrose was an intelligent child from the get-go. He quickly reached the Level of the other students, and managed to get pretty good grades once he finished high School.

Ambrose's lifef was pretty good from his perspective, and he was always happy and smiling. He managed to get into college to study Law, just like hid dad did. He managed to quickly obtain a suitable social life, and quickly grew quite popular at School. Ambrose thrived in School, and he enjoyed the Company of others. Though, his mother eventually fell ill, and he had to cut his education short for the time being. His mother had gotten cancer, and the doctors had told Ambrose and his dad that she didn't have much time left. Despite this, Ambrose took it With a smile and decided to make his mothers last time the time of her life. His father and his younger Brother wasn't as optimistic though, and kinda lost their former spark.

Ambrose took care for his mother the last few months she had left to live. The two of them went on roadtrips, small hikes and visits to People his mother wanted to see. Not even once did Ambrose lose his optimistic smile, and his mother could not have asked for better. When the day of her edath came, neither Ambrose' father or younger Brother said anything. They looked like ghosts of their former selfs, and ambrose got influenced by their negativity. He didn't go out as often as he used to, and spent more time alone. His father was a tomato, spending all his time looking at olf photographs Ambrose's mother had taken, not saying anything. Ambrose's younger Brother had moved to their aunt for the time being, and Ambrose had put his eyes on college again.

Back in college and his old environment, Ambrose felt a lot lighter after relativly short time. He spent more time going out, hiking etc. and he made New friends almost every day. Though, in the back of his thughts, Ambrose felt that something was missing.

And then came the dream. The dream Ambrose have had a few times already. Only this time, he was choosen as a champion by the god Hephaestus

WIPs, hehe. Just putting them here so it will be easier to edit. XD

Name: Lovina Violenza (hides behind the surname "Vanaria")

Gender: Female

Age: 23 (November 21)

Benefactor Deity: Ares

Artifact: Spear of War - A long weapon with a black iron shaft, and a sharp, pointed ornate head with three tips, one longer than the other two and jet black, and the shorter tips being blood-red.

Powers:

Superhuman Physiology (emphasis on strength and speed, of course)

Super-enhanced Fighting Skills

Weapons Expertise: Lovina has the ability to quickly know how to effectively use a particular weapon, at a rate much faster than normal. This allows her to master weapons very swiftly and make her more effective in fighting and battle.

Telumkinesis: Lovina can exert control over weapons, though only over weapons in the immediate battle, and only a certain number of weapons at a time at her current power level. With this, she has the ability to disarm opponents, curse weapons and turn them into other objects, as well as turn others' weapons against them to shift the battle to her favor.

Appearance: Lovina is a tall and imposing young woman, standing at 6'0" in height with a leanly-muscled build and a light complexion. Her crimson hair is thick and long, falling just past her waist in length, and is usually carelessly tied in a loose side-ponytail, not being one to take time styling it neatly and properly. Her eyes are an icy violet in color (inherited from her mother), rather unusual but not unheard of, and framed with thick, long lashes coated in black mascara, one of the few types of make-up that she would allow herself to wear. Her face is rather angular, with defined features and a pointed nose, and slightly yellowed teeth from drinking and smoking. Her body is lean, long-legged and slim and her breasts are the other most prominent parts of her aside from her eyes, being very large and ample, and she doesn't bother hiding this fact either. Encircling her upper left arm, upper right thigh and left ankle are black tattoos that resemble stitches. Her ears have three piercings each, decorated with black, skull-shaped earrings. Lovina's hands are rough and far from pretty partially from handling firearms and partially because of her roughness around the kitchen while attempting to learn how to cook. A long gash runs down her left palm from a chopping accident, while several healed burn scars dot her fingers.

Lovina, unlike her younger brother, does not enjoy colorful or conventionally fashionable clothing. She dresses in an offbeat, dark way that shows her rough and brash nature. Black is her favorite color, and she dislikes pink as well as light colors a lot. Her usual outfit consists of a tight, off-the-shoulder red-and-black graffiti top torn at the edges of the sleeves, at the neckline to emphasize on her assets and at the bottom as well to a length just below her ribcage. Over this, she wears a black zip-up leather vest with a silver skull-shaped stud on each side of its wide collar. Her bottoms are black mini shorts, and on her hips is a thick black leather belt with a silver skull buckle and silver studs decorating its length. Four silver chains dangle from this belt, two of them having a hanging cross, one having a hanging skull, and one being plain. On her feet are heavy black combat boots that lace up to the knee. Black leather fingerless gloves cover her hands and a silver skull on a simple chain hangs from her neck.

Personality: Though Lovina is beautiful, she's hardly a charming or feminine young woman. Quite the opposite actually. She is loud, foul-mouthed, boyish, rude and bad-tempered, being a person who swears often, easily gets ticked off and would not hesitate to hurt anyone verbally or even physically (she's very strong after all) when she feels like it. She isn't a weak puncher, being very far from it. When it comes to voicing her opinions, she's not exactly the most tactful person, often speaking her mind and never hesitating to shoot down anyone for reasons that can range anywhere from her thinking their plans are stupid or that she plain hates them. She doesn't even fear being caught by authority figures when confronting anyone violently, despite the consequences. This attitude of hers tends to alienate her from many of her peers. While she is not a loner by nature and would really want friends, despite denying this to herself a lot, not a lot of people understand her abrasiveness and think that she has problems instead of trying to reach out and understand her. Lovina is one who can also never admit when she is crushing on or is in love with someone, and for good reason. Yes, the girl is capable of such things, but the fact that she was once in love with someone and that the relationship ended in a disaster and with her being damaged goods, she is reluctant to trust anyone or believe in love. She's still extremely bitter about this, and allows it to take over her, hardening her in the process and making it difficult for her to listen. Despite her outwards nature, she is not heartless however, having a gentler side and knowing how to care more than one would expect, as seen in the way she dotes on her brother Felice. She however covers up her nicer side in public with a lot of made-up excuses and sometimes, violence so that nobody would think that she "softened up".

Lovina's anger and bitterness also makes her dislike certain types of people, mainly the lovesick type of girls who according to her, get everything just by giving their "charming smiles" and "talk all their problems away" and have everything easy in general. Lovina on the other hand hates letting anyone know about her problems, preferring to face them head-on and on her own. A courageous but stubborn individual, she has no qualms facing danger, even to the point of being daring in the face of it. She hardly thinks before she does things either, thinking that only pussies hesitate and that a future Boss should be strong like herself, not an indecisive, ever-changing idiot who keeps hesitating to make a move. It takes pretty long for her to trust someone and open up, being very untrusting and hesitant to give in, but when she does, then it would be easier to see her better qualities. Even when she trusts someone though, don't expect her to admit it when she likes somebody. It's more difficult to reach out to her compared to most people, but as long as one is persistent, it's very possible, as she secretly likes it when someone doesn't care whether she's problematic or not. With people she can trust, she opens herself up more and proves to be compassionate, caring and protective even to a fault. Expect her however to tell them to shut up and keep quiet about it, and treat them like she does with everyone when in public, though would noticeably be less harsh. It is possible though...why the hell does she have a small circle of friends if she didn't have a more open side? She also has a soft spot for those who are alienated and isolated by others, or those who are in a similar situation as herself, being noticeably less difficult around them, as she knows how it feels to be rejected, and finds it kind of easier to relate with them...misery loves company after all. She is capable of laughing and smiling just like anyone else, but it just takes time.

Lovina is the more intelligent of the two siblings and actually enjoys reading more than Felice does, being a fan of mostly horror novels. She also is much better at handling firearms than her brother, having excellent aim, which explains her love for shooting beer bottles, full or empty, with her small circle of friends. She however, lacks Felice's charm and creative prowess, being hopeless at painting and terribly blunt. Lovina is a fast runner and is also very fast on the road. This however means that she gets into more auto accidents than Felice, and being one to be very susceptible to road rage because of her temper and because of this, opts to ride a motorcycle, which she feels gives her a lot more freedom without having to answer to smashed hoods. Some of her other interests include snowboarding, fighting, gambling and betting, and of course, playing pool. She is not one who cares for formalities or etiquette either, and is very casual, rough and brash in her approach to things. She also is not the type who follows rules nor likes restrictions, preferring to break them and follow her instincts.

Lovina is a smoker, likes to drink and holds her alcohol very well, being able to tolerate more glasses than the average without getting drunk. When she gets drunk however, she goes from angry to extremely happy and even goofy, telling a lot of jokes, even profane ones and laughing and smiling a little too much for anyone's comfort. She also loosens up a lot when under influence, which makes a drunk Lovina rather fun to be around, basically being a lot like Felice. Also, while she is a talented chef and could cook with just about anything, she absolutely hates eating cheese and cheese-flavored products. Yes, even the cheese on top of pizza and pasta. She would much rather eat a plain pizza base or one spread with tomato sauce and toppings over one with cheese, as she seems to find the ingredient smelly and disgusting. She however, has a strange weakness for gelato.

History: Alessandro Luigi Violenza was not an ordinary Italian man. Rather, his job was both too important and too dangerous for him to be caught, being the Don of the Mafia. This led him to use the name "Luigi Violenza" among his fellow Mafiosi and assume the persona "Alessandro Vanaria" in public, using his talent for the arts and becoming a painter to the public eye, complete with a blond wig to hide his distinctive red hair. Alessandro however, only took over as Don when Lovina was already nine, succeeding his father. Before this, he was a wild soul, enjoying romance and art just as much as his future job, romancing many. He even managed to melt the heart of the beautiful and cold Tamara Nikolaevna Petrovskaya, a daughter of a former Russian organized crime boss, who settled in Italy. Soon, they married and Lovina was born a year after. To protect his daughter, his own surname being dangerous and the surname "Petrovskaya" still having a possible link to organized crime, Alessandro had false papers written for her with the Vanaria surname to make sure the public never knew that the future Don "Luigi Violenza" had a child. Lovina grew up pretty normal, though wealthy and privileged, going to school and making friends. Contrary to what many might think, young Lovina was never a bad seed, though she had a less-than-feminine personality that carried on through her teen years and early adulthood. Loud and rambunctious? Yes. Mischievous, rough and a troublemaker? Yes. Evil? No. She might have gotten in trouble with her teachers more often than not, and had more complaints directed towards her about her behavior compared to the average girl, but she was also gregarious and outgoing, warmed up to people easily and was generally happy. Though Alessandro was often busy with both his art and his Mafia matters, he doted on Lovina while at first trying to help his fiorelli act a little less loud and rough. Tamara disagreed however, being of the view that a future boss should be strong, not tender, and that Lovina was alright the way she was. Tamara won, and Alessandro stopped, knowing that his wife was right, and a pliable leader was no leader. Alessandro no longer tried to dress Lovina up in frilly dresses, nor did he try to restrain her free spirit. Lovina grew up active and thrill-seeking, developing a love for snowboarding after a trip with her parents to the Alps. Lovina however, clearly had no talent for the arts, despite how much Alessandro tried to teach her. All her works were not exactly pretty or striking, and Alessandro grew worried for his daughter and her future safety.

When Lovina was eight, Tamara became pregnant for the second time. This excited Lovina, and she hoped that it was going to turn out a boy. However, complications late in Tamara's pregnancy led to both the boy's and her own death. Naturally, devastated both Alessandro and Lovina, who was looking forward to her new brother and already missed her mother. Alessandro managed to pick up the pieces and helped Lovina cope with the loss, despite his own problems. There were talks that his new right-hand didn't exactly like him, and not wanting to deal with betrayal, had him shot. Partially because of this fear, and partially because nine-year-old Lovina still wanted a brother, he decided to adopt a child. Felice, two years younger than Lovina, then became part of the family and in Alessandro's mind, also Lovina's future right-hand, his sweet, romantic and artistic nature perfectly complementing Lovina's aggressiveness. Unlike her, Felice actually had some artistic talent, and picked up from their father quickly, while Lovina found herself to be a natural chef, despite her being so rough, even in the kitchen. Lovina doted upon her younger brother, even though she hated showing it in public due to his tendency to hug a lot, among his antics in getting close to people. Lovina, adamant though she was, actually managed to fall in love once, and it also became her biggest regret.

Lovina was a seventeen-year-old junior when she first met the tall, blonde and handsome charmer Francois Bellaire, who had taken an interest in her after a few months. Not Nicoletta with her golden hair and innocent demeanor, not Beatrice with her elegant clothes, far easier and more charming choices in Lovina's mind, but it was her whom Francois chose. When they were seniors, they started dating. Felice, finally glad that his sister was in a relationship, decided to play matchmaker to push Lovina towards Francois. Lovina protested initially, initially saying that she could handle herself and that she never was intending to kiss him or anything but deep inside, she appreciated her brother's help, and the relationship became romantic before winter break. Lovina was happy and in love with Francois, so much that she put off the training she was supposed to begin as future Boss, while attending university for a year. The next year however, there were no excuses and she had to start, as she was already twenty years old. Balancing an accelerated university plan and intensive training proved to already be difficult, and she spent less time with Francois as a result, though she still tried to meet him whenever she could while keeping the secret she held away from him, knowing that it was for the best. Over time, she learned how to handle firearms, fight effectively hand-to-hand, as well as learned about the inside workings of the Mafia as well as how to handle them, thanks to her father. She however, also longed to see Francois again. She graduated after three years in university, and knowing that she now had more time, tried to meet Francois once again. Strangely however, he sounded distant whenever he answered her calls, and no longer seemed to have the time to meet up with her. She wanted to find out what was up and one night, decided to drop by his place. She arrived only to find him with another woman, and in his room for that matter. Something in her snapped, but she did not cry. Instead, she raised the pistol she learned how to fire and shot the couple dead, before escaping without any regret for her actions. That was it, she was not going to allow herself to be "weak" and "romantic" just like that any longer, considering what those things did to her. She relocated to America soon after, along with Felice and a number of people Alessandro had handpicked to be her companions and her future "inner circle", intending to stay there for at least a few years.

Lovina currently runs her own Italian, Mafia-themed restaurant in Boston as her cover-up job. Though she was at first hostile towards her companions, she gradually opened up to them and is now comfortable, friendly and warm, if still rough and rude, in their company, no longer acquaintances but friends. She however, holds a degree of disapproval towards Felice's crushing on their resident redheaded killjoy, Ludovico Ferri, as well as the relationship she knew would be inevitable. Lovina knew that, broken relationship with Francois aside, her position in life was good: she was strong and could defend herself more than effectively, got her revenge on the person she thought had tried to break her, she wasn't alone, had her own business, and was about to come into a lot of power. However, she couldn't shake off the feeling that there were still things she wasn't certain about, and she didn't know whether it was good or bad that she didn't know.

A dream with a young, muscular and battle-scarred but handsome man who claimed to be the god Ares helped Lovina realize that whatever it was coming for her, she knew that she could handle it, just like everything else in the past. Upon confiding with Felice about the dream though, she found out that he had the same dream, albeit with a different person, and became the victim of her brother's teasing about it being a result of her frequent mood swings.

Name: Felice Violenza (hides behind the surname "Vanaria")

Gender: Male

Age: 20 (August 5)

Benefactor Deity: Apollo

Artifact: Golden Laurels - A laurel crown with sharp leaves made of pure gold, polished to mimic the sun's radiance.

Powers:

Superhuman Physiology

Photokinesis - Felice has the ability to manipulate and create light, from using it for practical purposes such as illuminating dark places, to attacking with it in the form of beams, balls and arrows at his current level.

Prophecy - Whenever Felice paints or sketches, he sometimes gets a vision of something that will come to pass in the immediate or near future, which then temporarily makes him lose his awareness and paint or draw a picture of the prophecy. He is not exactly conscious of what he is doing until the artwork is finished. Higher power levels allow for him to get visions further into the future.

Disease Manipulation - Felice might seem sweet, but he is in fact manipulative and clever, fitting such a power rather than healing. This ability allows him to inflict diseases on his targets via clouds of miasma. This has the ability to hit many targets, but Felice at this point could not control what diseases result from them. The effects could vary, from a simple headache or a common cold, to rarely, diseases such as the plague or malaria.

Appearance: Felice is tall, standing at 6'3" in height and is light-skinned. His hair is straight and golden-blonde, cut to his neck in length and having a particularly wayward curl which he leaves that way, claiming that it adds character to his look. His wide, expressive eyes are a warm garnet color, which often convey and project his friendly, happy nature. His face also has rather soft features, with gently-curving eyebrows, a straight nose, a slightly rounded, oval face and a mouth that is often in a smile. Though Felice is slender and doesn't engage in physical endeavors the way Lovina does, his slim build and body belies his leanness, and a natural strength that makes him a fearsome opponent...or even hugger. Unlike his sister, he doesn't like tattoos, thinking they ruin his skin. He however, has pierced ears.

Felice loves fashion, especially expensive designer clothing or things he made himself. Though he doesn't go as far as to put on actual women's clothing, he appreciates unique designs and is not averse to taking elements from women's fashion and incorporating them into his already fancy wardrobe. His usual outfit consists of a button-up shirt that is black and white plaid on one side, and just white on the other side. Both sleeves are white however, and are rolled up to his elbows. The shirt hugs his body rather snugly and is paired with a fancy, sky blue silk scarf. Over this, he wears a short, black sleeveless vest, one of his own creations, with two rows of two buttons closing it. His pants are tight-fitting and black, with a single, detachable chain hanging from one of the belt loops. The lower legs of the pants have sky-blue, detail that Felice hand-painted by himself for a personalized touch. On his feet are pointed, black cowboy-style ankle boots with black-threaded details. He wears a black, buckled newsboy hat on his head, and decorating his ears are simple, silver stud earrings. His wardrobe is diverse, but however, there are just some things he would refuse to put on, such as too many spikes, biker leathers, athletic shoes, and of course, dresses.

Personality: Felice is a cheerful and optimistic young man who, unlike his older sister, keeps a smile on his face and never lets angry thoughts get the better of him. He enjoys laughing and cracking jokes, even in inappropriate situations. He is a very friendly and upbeat person, and gets very comfortable around different people very quickly. Sometimes even too quickly, in fact. Anyone who knows the Violenza/"Vanaria" siblings would attest that Felice is definitely the friendlier, funnier, more open, and more affectionate one. The way he likes expressing his affection? Well, he has many of them, flirting included. His favorite way though? Hugging. Bear hugging to be exact. Felice is not one who has any concept about taboos regarding touching or personal space, and it really does show. This boy is also seemingly unaware of his own inherent strength whenever he hugs. He expresses affection and means well, but his hugs are suffocating, very painful and to some, even murderous. Truth be told, he is only partially oblivious about this, and that is to those whom he really likes. To whom he doesn't like however (of course there are some people he dislikes, he's only human), he uses this to his own advantage while still playing the role of the happy teenager, and it hardly fails to, at the very least, hurt and traumatize his victims.

Felice evidently is very much a romantic, to the point that he avidly pairs up people for his own pleasure, whether with others or with himself. If he thinks you look cute with a particular someone, he wouldn't hesitate to push you towards that person. Unfortunately for Lovina, she is his primary victim, being his older sister and all. As a result, she suffers being constantly paired up with various people, mostly their own assassin/head chef, Vincenzo Farfalle. Felice is also one to develop crushes very easily, and has no qualms about expressing them, even in public. Also a very charming individual, he often knows how exactly to be around people. Often, this allows him to get his way in many situations. Because of this, Felice is also manipulative by nature, knowing how exactly to get his way, or at least turn difficult situations in his favor by simply charming the obstacles. He knows that being nice is sometimes a lot more effective than using force, and uses his flirting and charisma to get his way whenever he needs to. Of course, he does resort to force on seemingly difficult targets, but a Felice using force is definitely a lot more difficult to handle and escape alive from than a charming Felice.

Felice's talents lie in the arts, being the creative and imaginative sort. He is an excellent painter and sculptor like his adoptive father, easily slipping into the artist cover-up job. He also has an interest in fashion and design, sometimes even making his own clothes and even making his older sister his mannequin, much to the latter's annoyance. He knows colors, design elements and themes very well, and it shows. He isn't a bad chef either, though he doesn't find standing next to stoves for prolonged periods of time comfortable. While he isn't exactly into physical endeavors, as seen in his slender figure, his natural strength and lethal hugs do make up for that fact. He may drive fast by most standards, but knows how to keep his temper in check and not to get in trouble a lot...unless he feels like speeding up even more. When he does, he knows exactly how to charm and manipulate his way out of trouble, so it's rare to see him in trouble, unless of course he does something really, really bad. He dislikes strict authority, and often tries to find and exploit loopholes in just about everything in order to get his way if he couldn't talk himself out of it.

Felice loves fine drinks, and has a good stomach for alcohol. Whenever he gets drunk however, his personality does a complete 180 and he becomes an angry, violent drunk. In this state, he curses, hits people, starts fights and sometimes even needs restraining. Essentially, he somehow assumes Lovina's personality under the influence of such drinks.

History: Felice was never Don Violenza's natural-born son. Rather, he was orphaned at the age of two and doesn't exactly remember who his parents were. For five years, he lived in an orphanage among many different children. He was rather popular, being the tallest among them without being a bully, and got along with both girls and boys equally well. When he was seven however, a well-dressed man came to adopt him. Alessandro Vanaria, he called himself, was supposedly an artist and chose him among the others. While he knew he was going to miss his friends, he was also looking forward to finally having a father. Alessandro took him home as his son and introduced him to his new big sister, Lovina. It was then that Alessandro revealed that he was not as he seemed, not entirely a painter but actually the next Mafia Don, not Vanaria but Violenza. Felice was confused at first, as well as fearful of them. Was his new father going to kill him? Alessandro was patient and kindhearted however, and Lovina was a doting older sister despite her love for rough play. His fears eased up and he eventually accepted them, even growing very close to them. Alessandro loved him like he would love a birth son, and allowed the young boy to discover his creativity and talent in art.

Felice had a natural talent in the arts, something that relieved Alessandro. The future cover-up of Felice as "Felice Vanaria" the artist was going to come naturally after all. Even when he entered his new school, three year levels below Lovina, he was almost immediately popular among both males and females due to his warm, friendly and lighthearted disposition. Bullies were inevitable however, despite his friendliness to almost everyone, their reasons ranging from Felice's preference for drawing and art rather than sports, to his build, and even because of the fact that he was popular among girls. Felice was tolerant at first until an incident when he was nine. A classmate of his confronted him in the playground while he was drawing one of his best friends, who happened to be male. The boy took Felice's sketchpad, looked at it and threw it down before grabbing Felice while yelling insults at him. Felice only snapped when the boy hit him. He grabbed the bully by the neck with his arms and squeezed tightly, showing an unexpected display of strength for someone so tall and lanky. This had the surprising effect of making the bully let go of him and start pleading and crying until Felice indeed let go. From then on, the boy never bothered him again and Felice was left to be. Lovina, after learning about this incident, often went over to Felice's classroom in order to taunt the boy, as well as brag about her own brother being "cute and badass" to him, rubbing it in the boy's face. Felice still retained his charm and friendliness even as he went on to high school. It was then that he realized that he was attracted to males rather than females and started openly dating. While he still had people disliking him for one reason or another, it was a minor issue for him, as there were no longer any physical assaults.

It was at this time that Lovina started dating Francois, her first-ever boyfriend. Felice, being the romantic he was and at that time was seeking out his own boyfriend, actively gave Lovina advice on how to handle Francois, telling her to soften up a bit, while joking around that Francois was going to be his if ever the guy turned out to be gay. Lovina refused to agree with him, however, being her usual stubborn self. It turned out well after some time, and Felice focused himself on finding his own boyfriend. Despite his nature, it was difficult for him to find a serious one, as high school was not exactly the easiest place to find a same-sex partner. He finally managed to start dating when he graduated from high school, finding himself someone who was earnest and serious, and spent a whole month in the summer in his new relationship. Felice was happy, yet that happiness was unfortunately for him, fleeting. When Alessandro found out that Lovina had murdered Francois, relocation was imminent, and Felice was forced to end the relationship before leaving for America. He broke it off sadly without giving a concrete explanation, devastated that it had to happen, but trying to look on the bright side of not having the relationship turn fully romantic yet.

Felice now helps Lovina run her Mafia-themed restaurant as a cover-up job, in addition to taking a fine arts course at an art university. While he at first missed Italy, he quickly got over his sadness and now has been showing signs of liking one of the members of their handpicked "inner circle", the serious, troubled, ex-criminal-turned-bodyguard redheaded killjoy, Ludovico Ferri. Felice constantly stays with him and flirts with him, despite Ludovico seemingly lacking the sense of fun the others like Vincenzo and Matteo have. Lovina does not get what her brother sees in him and thus, shows contempt for the relationship. Ludovico, however, has shown signs of softening up a bit. Felice remains ever-optimistic about the future, enjoying life, and trying to maintain a sense of normalcy as the day he begins to learn the craft of the right-hand draws near. While looking forward to it, there was still a small part of him that doubted himself and questioned "Could I really do it? Handle it well?".

Just recently, Felice had a dream where in a radiant man, bright as the sun, came up to him. Introducing himself as Apollo, the man told Felice that he saw something special in the boy, then named Felice his Champion. When Felice woke up and told his sister, Lovina admitted that she also had the same dream, though with someone else appearing to her. Hugging him tightly despite his teasing, she warned him not to say a word to any of their other companions, and that she was proud of him.

Also, remember, Hermes was happily married to Hecate, so keep that in mind.

I was unaware of this. In fact, I thought Hecate was a maiden goddess. And besides, Hermes still slept with other women and even had kids with them (Pan, Hermaphroditus, Tyche, etc.)

Not my best work, but I've done worse.

Name: Oliver Blackstone
Gender: Male
Age: 22

Benefactor Deity: Hecate
Artifact: Key of Hecate
Powers: Superhuman Physiology - Lesser than some of the others, but still superhuman.
Elemental Magic - Can use magic of the different elements (Wind, Water, Fire, Earth, Lightning, Light, and Darkness). Can use in varying strength, the weakest blasts can be shot out almost constantly while doing little to Oliver or the target. Lock Manipulation - Can conjure keys to match any lock. Obviously, the lock needs to take a key for him to use this power.
Ghosts - Oliver can see and converse with ghosts.

Appearance: Oliver stands a bit below average for men. He has an elegant, slightly feminine form. His hips are rather wide for a man, adding to the feminine appearance. Oliver carries himself proudly and elegantly, and his body posture is near perfect. All of his hair-head and body-is neatly trimmed and short.. His hair is a golden yellow. His eyes used to be green, but lately have started taking a silvery hue (Well, he tells others that they have changed colors, really it is just a pair of colored contacts). While still recognizably male, his face has the same somewhat feminine look the rest of him does.

While physically he looks feminine, he does not dress that way. He always dresses nice if he can help it. He prefers dark slacks, a black leather belt, and a dull yellow button-up shirt over an undershirt. He also has a black jacket. He has other clothes for more specific occasions, but generally prefers his multiple copies of the same outfit. He has a necklace of a gold key, but keeps it tucked under his shirt.

Personality: Much like his benefactor deity, Oliver has multiple personalities (not actual Multiple Personality Disorder, mind you, just different ways of acting but they all share the same identity and memories), but is not quite as extremely different. He is well aware of the differing ways he acts, but none of them are really dangerous so he has not seeked help for it. Although he has been this way for a while, in the last couple months it has started to line up with moon cycles.

In all of his moods, he shares some common characteristics. He has the same tastes in most all subjects. He is no genius, but he is reasonably smart. He has a good amount of business training. He is not a bookish type, but really likes movies.

There is the solemn Oliver. He takes on this personality during the new moon and the surrounding few days. He rarely wastes words or shows reactions. He is calm and stoic. He is also more blunt, saying what needs to be said as directly as possible and using as few words as possible. He is a very tactical person with this personality.

Then there is hot-headed Oliver. This expression is for the full moon and the days around it. While hot-headed is not really the proper word, he is more hot-headed than the other two personalities. He is still not the most emotional or reactionary person, but he is more open to showing his emotions. He gains a bit of carelessness with the magic in this personality, which is not the best because of what a full moon does to his magic.

Then there is neutral Oliver. Not much to say. He is a balance between solemn and hot-headed, although he leans a bit closer to solemn. This personality pops up during the days between the full and new moon, and vice-versa, except for the few days right around those.

History: Oliver was born to an upper middle-class family. His grandfather was a multimillionaire and owner of a major corporation. Growing up, Oliver could get most anything he wanted. He was a top quarter student in school, but never at the very top of his class. He grew up as an only child, but was close to a cousin his age, Sophia. While not rich, his family was still richer than most in the area, so he made ‘friends’ easily. In the end, they were just in it for the money or cool stuff they got hanging out with Oliver, but he never cared much either because they at least actually acted friendly and never back-stabbed or abandoned him.

Oliver’s grandfather’s health took a nosedive when Oliver was 17. He quickly passed away. Much to the disappointment of both Oliver’s father and uncle, his grandfather’s wealth did not go to their families. Instead, it went to an illegitimate son that no one was aware of, while Oliver’s family and his uncle’s family both got enough to send their kids to a first-rate college for four years (Or to a second-rate college for four years with a couple thousand dollars left over).

Shortly after this, Oliver’s multiple personalities started manifesting. Since his grandfather’s death, his family had lost some of its closeness. So, while his parents did notice him acting a bit oddly, they never felt the need to draw attention to it. Throughout college, the personalities started to become more defined and consistent. He graduated college with a business degree.

Recently, Oliver has been feeling an odd connection to the moon. He has a hard time describing it, he just has a certain link to it. The certain odd eccentricity that comes with being upper middle class and having multiple personalities has led to him buying silver contact lenses to resemble the moon.

Also recently, Oliver has received a dream. In the dream, a woman appeared to him with a dog. She stated herself to be Hecate, a goddess of magic, crossroads, keys, and ghosts, among a few other occult things. The goddess named Oliver as her champion.

All right, we'll start Friday then! Firebrand is accepted!

Accepted for Golden.

Good job so far Jean.

But about the Artifacts, look for something that may affiliated with the character. Like Zeus would have a Thunderbolt. So check if they don't already have artifacts
