If you have any damage to your Nintendo portable post here.

My GBA has a lot of "battle" scars, screen badly scratched, the battery cover has no clips, the right button on the D-Pad lost sensitivity and there is a line of dead-ish pixels on the screen.

The weird white specks are probably lint from your pocket. My DS top screen is full of it, so that I can barely see the screen in bright light. The touch screen also has 3 deep scratches in the middle, offset to the left, most likely from using the thumbstrap too vigorously on Ridge Racer DS. The plastic layer on the sticker on the back has peeled off. Some of the paint has been scraped off.

My first GBA SP (traded in my second one) has a broken screen. I accidentally stepped on it one night.

All my gba have thier screens scratched to insanity. My SP is doing awsome and I'm hoping to keep it that way. My second ds however, seems like it had dust inside the screen and the touch screen has a dead pixel AGAIN! This is the second time I've found one, I really hope they solve this problem with the Lite.

All my portables (2 GBCs, 2 SPs, and a DS) are in good shape. Lucky me!

My GBA (Fuschia) has a broken battery cover. Some of the plastic near the link port has been cut off.

My GBASP (Gold TRA Exclusive) is severely scratched on the cover, and minor scratches in other places. The serial number has also been wiped off.

My DS (platinum) has a few scratches on the cover, but the worst has been protected by my Matrix skin. The skin is also scratched a bit, some of the paint is peeled off next to the screens, and the screen protectors I have on both screens are scratched a lot. The last time I saw it, the screens without the protector was in pretty good condition. The back corner of my DS is badly scratched, as is the area near the stylus holster. I have to use tape on my DS to prevent the serial number from being wiped off. :/

As much as I try to take really good care of my consoles, they always get damaged in some way or another. Same thing with my books. I try to keep a new book in perfect condition but something always happens. :/

You can't just solve the problem of a dead pixel, it happens during manufacturing and it's just down to luck whether you get one or not

My GBASP's bar code peeled off and the screen is broken. I still use it for GBA connectivity where I either can memorize what I need to do or don't need the screen (Pokémon comes to mind)

My GBA is completely ruined. The screen's dark and completely scratched, the d-pad's right button hardly works, and the others you need to press hard to get to work. Now you see why I want an SP to play GBC and Gb games.

My cousin's DS's hinge broke. So now the top screen freezes every now and then and it can't let out a signal. Lucky me though. The only bad things that have happened to me are scratchs. Not the screens though. On the outside.

Torchic23

gee that's swell
My Gameboy Advance and Gameboy SP are scrathed up pretty good. That's why I've made an effort to keep my DS in good condition. I put a screen protector on the touch screen and I try to remember to put it in it's case I bought for it

How do people manage to break their screens? o_O; It seems pretty hard to me, unless, of course, you have a hammer.

or an angry mother and a wall. She got angry at me and took it out on the closest thing of mine: my poor defenseless GBASP. She did the same thing with my NES, SNES, and Gameboy. The Gameboy got the same damage as the GBASP. The NES works, but the casing is broken. The SNES on button wouldn't work anymore, but my dad made a new on button.
