GCN installation problem

Yeah, well you see, I'm putting my GameCube into my plasma screen TV, but I can't seem to get it to work. I know where the AC Adapter for it goes (In the outlet) but that other cord you need to have, the one that hooks inot the TV itself with the red yellow and white cord ends, I don't know what to do about that. Obviously the part that goes into the GCN itself, is in there. I got a MadCatz one of those though, so it doesn't have the red yellow and white cord ends. On that piece3, I put it into the GCN and put one cord into the part of the TV that says "From antenna" but what about the part that says "To TV"? If I can, I'll get an image of what the MadCatz piece looks like, just to help.

I'm not sure where those are, and yes, eh? was what I was thinking when I read that post over. The VIDEO IN and "To TV" ports are in the back, correct? And yeah, I'm reading the manual now also.

If it has a VGA port (the same that you use for computer monitors), you're going to need something that converts that into VGA. Check to see if it has those...

That's what they look like.

If it has component video input, which looks like the normal inputs but is red, blue, and green, then you're going to need component cables for your Gamecube, if it has a component out port.

<EDIT> Oh yeah, and if you could tell us the manufacturer and model of your TV, it would allow us to easier help you out :p

Hmm...Well all I know is it's a Daewoo, that's all I can get out of it.

And it actually has both of those, the VGA port is in the TV itself, but the component video input is on our satalite box, that goes to the TV itself.

I can't because I don't have a scanner, but I checked online for the model, it's a Dp42sm. Like I said though, it has both the VGA port and the component video input. And actually, now that I look at it more closely, the VGA ports are in the back of the TV, and one is for a PC to plug into, the other is labeled rs23sc. So i think i really only have the component video input.

Yes, if it has no yellow, white, and red inputs, it's probably got no speakers, so you're going to need a separate set of speakers on top of your component cables.

If you want to use it, make sure your Gamecube has component video output. The later model Gamecubes don't have them. If you look at your Gamecube from the back, the port is to the very left.
