Let's go to the beach, each.
I don't think there's anything wrong, though, with GF throwing a curveball out there that forces the player to rethink their team temporarily.

I'd personally be extremely ticked off if I had to waste time rethinking my team and doing extra training in the middle of the games, hence why I'm against the Winona/Sky Trainer scenario. That should be saved for the post-game instead or something.

Since you were never able to battle them in RS i doubt it will be happening in ORAS. The opposing teams came as "the other side" to the evil teams but when you look at both versions you realise than no team is good and both would do anything for their goal.

Sadly I agree, although I'd love to battle high-ranking Team Magma members like Tabitha and Courtney in AS during the post-game or something. Just to emphasize that they also have questionable plans.

I would much rather be forced to do an Inverse Battle than a Sky Battle

YES! inverse battles need to be more prominent. I love the simple yet brilliant concept of it and these battles are where pokemon that sucked because of it's type to really shine (pure grass type and grass/psychic). I was dissapointed that inverse battles were only stuck to 1 trainer and really hope that they turn out to be staples alongside singles and doubles. At least let us battle in inverse battles online.

yeah I do hope in both games they show that both teams are evil. I didn't like that n ruby and sapphire they were kinda the good guys even though they had just as bad intentions.

I agree that they should have more of the battles that aren't just singles. I look forward to the double battle against gym leaders Tate and Liza! Pokemon has always forced you to go with one style of battling the entire game (singles), but when you get to competitions, they're all in doubles. What's up with that!?!

Either way, I'm really excited for this gen. I hope characters are flushed out more, and I really hope that we get a little more background on some of the gym leaders. You hardly ever see them outside their gyms...

They didn't, though. In RS, the team that wasn't trying to change the environment had no radical intentions of their own, and existed solely to stop the opposite team from succeeding.

My fellow magma that's something i would like to see too. while it's there's no tradition in fleshing out gym leaders (bar a few) i would like some more info on other gym leaders. winona, tate and liza, roxane, brawly, we got nothing on them. I would like to know why tate and liza are psychic leaders and much like sabrina, Will and lucian there's nothing connecting to psychic typing. Caitlin and Oympia were the only one who i believe in being psychic type specialists.

Their minds were connected, weren't they? They constantly interrupt each other and finish the sentence the other was saying so they could speak almost as one.

Didn't Sabrina have like psychic powers? That green energy around her hands in HGSS?

Was this in game? i really don't remember that happening.

I'm quite certain there are also NPCs in R/G/B/Y that talk about Sabrina having strange powers.

i always thought when i faced her in RBY that she was just a regular trainer with a whip. I was really young too so i don't remember. I only knew she had psychic powers from the anime.

Yes the twins could read each other minds and they finish each other conversation in the chat before the battle, and in the post battle, even when describing calm mind.

Sabrina said she knew you would come there in bith RBY and GSC, GSC being the most prominent one.

As a kid I was pretty much completely convinced that he was going to have beaten the champion a la Blue in gen 1 and I would have to usurp him from his throne. When I ran into him in Victory Road I figured out instantly that it was him and part of my hear died. However, I'm excited to battle them again. Though I could see them putting some twist on them like each having different battling styles which could be good or bad.

Actually, it would be cool if you could battle all of them including Vito again post game, but with stronger teams.

It may be interesting battling Vito again, but also I would like to see him in his house (postgame) and having some kind of dialogues of his family and himself about his defeat.

And talking about Juan and Wallace, this may be an idea, Wallace is the gym leader in Omega Ruby while Juan helps you with Team Magma and Aqua, and Juan is the Gym Leader in Alpha Sapphire, while Wallace helps you with Team Magma and Aqua and respecting Steven position as the Champion.

Yep this has been discussed pretty much to death lol. I wish we could get confirmation on who the Sootopolis leader is already. As mentioned before, I don't want version exclusive leaders... but I'll probably accept it if they decide to throw that onto us (along with a few grumbles but meh)

Personally, I don't think it really needs confirmation. I mean these are remakes of R/S, so why wouldn't Wallace be the Gym Leader? :x
