Like how positive are we that the demo was a fully pared down version of the full game, and not just a good chunk of it at a pretty late stage of development?

what do people think the difference between "almost done" and "done" is in vidya terms

Alright, so outside of the specific Zinnia storyline does anyone think any other specific Emerald exclusive content will be phased in after the post-game, such as Wallace replacing Steven as champion. I was really optimistic after seeing them together in similar roles that Wallace would take on the role of Champion after the events of the Delta Episode. Pretty much, I would love to see Steven being replaced by Wallace after the Delta Episode. Though, demo dumps have shown us Sootoplitan Wallace with his Emerald Champion team and he has no match with improved Elite Four rosters. I certainly hope the demo dump is literally more than what has been posted and we get to see Wallace with a Mega-Milotic and a champion title once again.

But, dumps have already leaked Steven as a post-game champion with Lv. 76-79 team, so my point is invalid.

No, I highly doubt Wallace will take over.
Nor do I want him to.

I agree. To quote chaga "(Wallace) is a gym leader material but not a champion material."

It is so hard to tell what fake and what's not fake, guys? If it not on the front page its a bust.

Well not neccessarily, seeming Joe doesn't usually post these kind of leaks, especially seeming he'll be doing his own coverage soon enough.

I know that much. I just find it weird why they are missing.
But you make a good point about Hex Maniacs being female only, so female Psychics are dropped to make the former the counterpart to male Psychics instead.

Hex Maniacs were a separate trainer class in RSE, I really wish they had female psychics, at least in the remakes

Mega Milotic? Is that confirmed or is it just speculation? I know I should be asking this in the Mega Evoution thread but this one is a quickie because Milotic is one of my favorite Pokémon

It'd be THE favorite if it wasn't so nigh-impossible to obtain in the third and fourth generation. I also hope it's easier to find one now or else I'll absolutely hate Wallace. Hate him with a passion that can melt down Steven's Mega Metagross!!! Grrrr!!!

A rare sight, ladies and gentlemen.

I said "I hope" in the beginning of my sentence. So, it is not confirmed.

I agree. I like Wallace, but I don't want him to replace my husbando Steven as Hoenn's Champion; thankfully the data dumps don't imply that Wallace will snatch Steven's job.

Apparently Juan no longer exists, which I am disappointed with cause I actually liked that character. And by the look of things Scott doesn't exist in these games considering that there is no evidence of a Battle Frontier. I wish they gave Steven a full steel type team though.

Actually I think that Steven is supposed to be more of a rock-type user which is shown by his rematch team.

His rematch team has three Rock-types just like his first team iirc; I don't see how that implies that he's more of a Rock-type specialist now when his main Pokemon's still a Steel-type.

Nah. He's considered a Steel specialist. Although he uses just as many Rock pokémon as Steel pokémon initially. However he is stated to be a Steel specialist here:
Trainer's Pokémon
The ultimate Steel Pokémon (RS)
Ultimate Steel Pokémon (E)

It's the same reason Lance is considered a Dragon specialist; because the game says so. Despite all his 6 pokémon being Flying in Johto compared to only three being Dragon.

I hate his rematch team. Only two changes and both of them have one same type as those who gets replaced. I would've liked to see him change his Claydol too. And I support full Steel type too.

I kind of wish he had replaced Claydol too. It never presented a challenge for me when I battled Steven in R/S and I would've liked him to have a full team of Steel-types instead.

Whoa.

Claydol is the best and anyone who disagrees is wrong, sorry. I approve of Steven using Claydol.

Oh yeah, scott...he just dissapeared. Well, he wasn't that interesting to begin with so he won't be missed by me.

Claydol fits steven's "researcher/paleontologist" motif and it's a respectable pokemon. Though he's a steel type specialist, i'm ok with him having carbink in the rematch since it's the perfect pokemon for him, i mean it's basically a living rock with gemstones. maybe sableye would be a fitting choice too.

Scott's only real purpose was to recruit you into the battle frontier... everytime else he kinda just floats around here and there. HE EVEN CALLS YOU A ROOKIE IN THE BEGINNING UGH THE NERVE XD. b*tch this is at least the 10th time I've played the hoenn series. but yeah I don't miss scott either.
