Is anyone else as excited to get ahold of the oculus rift when it launches? I'm looking forward to scaring the **** out of myself playing survival horror games on it.

Time will tell if it's just another gimmick like motion controls, 3D, and tablet controller. It's something that can't be demoed well at all in videos, so that's gonna cause a problem in marketing. It has to be experienced first hand to truly understand how VR is different. I think Oculus supports porn? Virtual porn will be a tremendous success, demonstrated in Sword Art Online as its pièce de résistance.

I won't use VR technology. Death Gun will kill me while i'm under or worse...some teenager with a bowl haircut will start frantically repeating Asada-san in my face.

You darn tooting kids and your anime references! *shakes fist angrily*

Since Sonic was the main focus of the last page, PSN (US) is celebrating Sonic's 24th Anniversary this week by having a sale! Sonic Adventures 1 and 2 are $2 each, they good? Also, some other Sega games up for sale. Genesis Collection for PSP/Vita is $4, so might get that.

Played the GC port for Adventure 2 (Think it was called Adventure 2 Battle on the GameCube). Aside from the wonky camera i thought it was a good game overall. I think that was back when Steve Urkel was still voicing Sanic (in the shows)

Adventure 1 & 2 are good, but the best part is the Chao Garden, hands down.

Thinking about it, I would totally play a Sonic game that was JUST the Chao Garden.

yeah adventure 2 battle was the first sonic game i played and sa/sa2 are still my favorites. they're kind of the beginning of the end and not everyone liked every aspect, but for that cheap it is certainly worth picking up.

i also really want a new chao garden. especially with the advent of mobile gaming something like that would be a PERFECT mobile game. sonicteam could make such a killing off a new chao game i dont get why they wont do it.

A new chao garden with 3DS/Vita connectivity would indeed make a killing. I remember messing around with the chao stuff on my VMU (Dreamcast memory cards for the little ones out there)

It's like Sega doesn't want Sonic to succeed anymore.

sonic is good!

As much as I like Chao Adventure 2 with that little Dark/Hero animal story going on alongside the Chao main game, I feel like a standalone Chao Garden wouldnt quite be enough for it to succeed. Chao Gardens have always come with some wacky Sonic gameplay to come with them in order to collect Rings and Items. Now i'm not sayin we cant find another way to collect those things, but I feel like havin to go through a bit of action to get stuff for your chao really helped balance things out when taking care of your chao for hours at a time. Of course, that's just me, since I enjoyed the Sonic/Shadow gameplay. Plus seeing Shadow be a mother-figure on his downtime was really a funny thought.

Anyone remember Tiny Chao Garden? The things the chao would say would really make you think.

At least the Chao 3DS theme will always be there to help memories flood back, and SEGA hasn't completely forgotten about it.
