Even though I'm getting Xenoblade Chronicles X for Christmas and am choosing a male avatar, I can definitely understand why some are disappointed with the censorship. Didn't the new Bravely Default recently revealed that a class of sorts also got censored as well?

Bravely Default sucked. Repeat EVERYTHING 4 times for the true ending? F*ck you, game. You're not special or good or creative or unique. You're worse than Ubisoft's collect-a-thons.

If XBC was a 3rd-party title, Nintendo would have kept the censorship, but give you Nintendo IP clothing. "We don't want you see this uncensored, but at least you get Mario outfit! Please understand and buy our bajillion Mario games and spin-offs!"

Even if the localization changes ("censorship") are unnecessary, I can't imagine refusing to outright play an entire game over a handful of costumes. Perhaps I care even less since all costumes in question are fanservice, and none of the characters in XCX are attractive enough that I'd want to see them shy of being naked. The changes are such an infinitesimal part of the experience that is Xenoblade Chronicles X that I really don't care.

it doesn't matter if it doesn't take much away from the game. it still takes away something. "so much" is just an imaginary threshold people use when they are too lazy or uninformed about what changed to care.

I thought it was kind of that show that was a good type of terrible. Doug's imaginations really get bizarre, like the time Mr. Dink became the Incredible Hulk/werewolf hybrid.

King of the Hill had very clever humor. It's not as slapstick as Simpsons, Family Guy and others, but the situations Hank gets into makes a simple problem more convoluted. There was that one episode that he accidentally mugged somebody, then tried to return the wallet, while the person who had it stolen got really angry and tried to give him the hurt. Plus, it usually has an emotional moment that really strings the episode together.

Yeah, Doug was never a cartoon that did much for me. Probably because I was pretty tiny when it was playing regularly, I couldn't really relate to or care that much about some teenagers issues with school bullying and crushes. I liked pork chop though. He was cute.

I really, really hope Force Awakens lives up to the hype and doesn't disappoint. As admirable and even quite good (see "Blackened Mantle" on YT) as some of the fan-cuts/edits of the Prequel Trilogy have been, I'd rather hope the new one doesn't need that at all.

It seems to be at least partially living up to the hype judging by the reaction to the premiere. Can't wait to see it on Thursday.

Speaking of Star Wars, I've been playing Star Wars Bounty Hunter on my PS4. I used to play Star Wars Bounty Hunter on my PS2 back in the day. It's such a great challenging game!

I'm still crossing my fingers for KoTor 1&2 HD remaster. Heck, I am definitely fine with remakes if they are done right.

EDIT: I'm so happy that Cloud Strife is in Smash now! I just bought FF7 for my PS4 last week. I have so many games to play and then on top of that I have to work. Thus the reason I haven't been on here as much.

Bioware needs to ax The Old Republic from its own continuity, and make KOTOR 3. Part of me had hoped they would have made the KOTOR trilogy as the new series, but I suppose everybody would have been spoiled by the plot and the major twists beforehand.

I went and saw the new Star Wars movie today. I enjoyed the movie. There were a few things that could have been better, but it was a still a great movie in my opinion. I think the next movie will be even better.

It's been a hectic past week for me with finals. Lots of Pizza, lost sleep, and general exhaustion. I finish my last final on Thursday and start packing before I head out on Friday.

Friday morning I wake up to someone calling my phone. Turns out, it's from a company I applied for a full-time software engineering position at. I'm thinking that they're probably gonna tell me that I didn't make it and that they're looking for someone else. I take the call.

The first thing I hear is congratulations for getting the job. They give me some of the details and I just listen, my brain not fully awake.

It's been 2 days and I'm still in shock. In an economy where graduates struggle to find jobs, I've already got a one lined up for me in Boston when I graduate in May. I just can't believe it honestly.

As a remake most of it is the same. The biggest change, other than Gen 6 features and new Mega is the really shitty post game that you'll grow board off since the new characters aren't any interesting.
