    LadyTriox ~Cool like Korrina is~*snuggles her* <33

This IS NOT Korrina related. Though i'm still very into her.

I want to confidently love cute things as a whole again one day :) And maybe wear sweet lolita. I don't want to think badly about liking 'girly' things forever, cuz they really mean a lot to me. I feel I understand them like no one else does. If anyone does.

Sonic The Hedgehog 06 is a complete cluster ****! That game is horrible.

Speaking of **** games, I purchased a copy of Bubsy 3D. I collect video games, so I figured I should add one of the worst games of all time to my collection.

    Zazie So 1991

So I got to introduce a friend to the wonders of the Super Mario Brothers cartoon and Milli Vanilli with the Mario/MIlli Vanilli crossover episode.

I highly recommend giving the episode a watch. It's an animated masterpiece.

And I remember when blingees where a fad on here. I just made one now.

I think part of it is that my TV is a 10-year-old model with a kooky resolution (1366 x 768 or something), so I had to modify the display settings for the 2nd monitor through my graphics card control panel or some ****. Part of my problem was probably also because I was trying to do the "extend" feature, so that I could play on my TV and easily switch back to using my computer to browse or whatever (kind of necessary since I have video game ADD or something -- unless it's an AMAZING game, I probably won't play for more than 30-45 straight minutes without doing something else. I tend to rack up dozens of unnecessary hours in games by doing this, and/or forgetting that I was playing a game and going to sleep or leaving the house or something, leaving it going for hours). And the PS4 controller works fine if it's plugged in to my computer, but I was never able to get it to connect with Bluetooth or whatever it uses. Probably just as well, since I don't have to sync it back and forth this way.

IT BETTER NOT. And on the plus side, you can pre-order KH3 or FF7R for $60 now, and by the time they come out, new games will probably be in the $80-100 range.

I honestly don't remember those being a fad here. Anyway, it looks like a fun toy, to be sure, but I made something a little more nuanced. Good thing they can fit those on MySpace pages, because that's going straight onto mine!

Apropos of... nothing, remember how Cruxis used to talk about peddling Viagra to fund his steroid habit? I miss that guy.
  5. Who told you serebiiforums is the new silk road? This was supposed to be hush hush.

    Zazie So 1991

I never had a myspace, I feel like I missed out. Though I didn't have any friends back when myspace was a thing, so I am not sure what I would have gotten out of it. I went straight to facebook back in freshman year of college.

Feeling old right now, realized I finished high school 10 years ago as I was typing all this out.

I got back from the Anime convention. I got to meet some cool people there.
  8. It's way too hot here in England right now. I physically cannot sleep because I feel like I'm in an oven.
  9. The Admiral

Oooh, you should get Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero next. Actually, you should get any MK game released on PS1 that's not Trilogy, even the port of MKII that's Japan-exclusive is kinda crummy.

Yeah, that'll probably cause some... weird issues. Computer stuff is not always cut-and-dry.

PS4-controller-wise, I'm using extra software to make it work while plugged in to the USB port, called DS4Windows. I haven't tried any Bluetooth functionality with it or anything but I also hate wireless controllers with a flaming passion.

The way things are going... you're not wrong. Remember when they wanted Mass Effect 3 to be US$70 base price for all of ten minutes? Something something extremely inappropriate metaphor.

[Tim Allen noise]? Cool people exist at anime conventions?
  10. Zazie

    Zazie So 1991

There are a few of them, but they are very much in the minority.

The rest are obnoxious nerds and rude cosplayers, or just average unassuming people.
  11. Auraninja

    Auraninja Gre-nin-ja!

There are many decent people at anime conventions. It's just that there will be some creeps out there as well.

I was talking mostly of the people who visited this convention, like Christopher Sabat (who I actually met in Funimation around 12 years ago).

  15. I'm just dropping in to say that if you haven't played Nier: automata, you should.

You can run over nationalistic robots with a moose. The kinky bondage get ups the main characters wear might make most people go "Nah" but it really is a great game.

Nier and Breath of the Wild are my top two games of the year, and I honestly can't decide which is better.
  17. I haven't even finished Nier. I'm currently stuck on that giant worm thing in the desert as A2. After dying the third time I had to take a break - it's annoying because you have to take out those three big walker robots each time before you get to the boss. I haven't finished and it's still one of the best games of played.

Is anyone in real life as gut wrenchingly sincere and loveable as 9S? I found myself asking that question more than contemplating the futility of my existence like the game probably wanted me to.

Yeah the giant worm boss is the worst mandatory thing in Nier. Thankfully the chip that heals if you don't take damage after 5 seconds exists.

But the characters from Nier 1 are like 9S, but that game has a lot of tedious things about it. Platinum seems to have fixed the annoying parts to really make it a great game instead of a good game with down parts about it.
  19. Okay, since NA does have a bit of a complicated story I have a question about it. It could be a plothole or maybe I just wasn't paying attention.

So, when A2 reveals that 2B is actually model 2E, designed from A2 and assigned to 9S to execute him in case he ever finds out the truth about YorHa..that bit didn't really work for me. The scenes where they "showed" that 2B had tried to kill him three different times weren't adequeate. The first time in the prologue they're surrounded by goliath class units and suicide by black box seems pretty logical, nothing suspicious. Further more there was no indication that 9S had found out anything that he wasn't supposed to, unless I missed something. The second time he specifically asks for death because he's infected with a logic virus. Really, the only thing close was 2B's comment "It always ends like this." but the "twist" was kind of soured for me in that regard.

Second, when it's revealed that the bunker is infected with a backdoor virus or whatever, every time YorHa comes close to defeating the machines, I thought that was silly. I can understand the network's perspective for perpetuating the war, in furthering its own evolution, but not YorHa's perspective for perpetuating the war. I understand why YorHa lied about humanities existence - to keep from destroying the morale of the androids, but there are instances within the game where androids are capable of finding meaning in other things. There was the sidequest where you help resistance members flee and start their own lives. The commander knew the entire time that humanity was extinct, so obviously she found purpose in something. 9S clearly finds meaning in his relationship with 2B. If revealing the truth would have been so devastating to morale that machines would have wiped out all androids completely, then the secret would have need to only be kept until YorHa prevailed and wiped them all out.

The latter one I think I know about I think

The virus is only for when things reached a final point. The war would always go back and forth, but 2B and 9S killing Eve set off the virus because without the machines YorHa has no reason to exist either.

And for the androids having a purpose I think that's intentional. Almost all the androids we see have something to live for, so while the organization has lost it's purpose, it's members didn't. That and Yoko Taro is big on "We have no purpose, so we find one" mentality.
