Ok, I have a tough problem for me.
Here's my current Leafgreen team:
Golem
Weepinbell
Blastoise
Pidgeot
Scyther
I have one more spot to fill and right now, its a toss-up between Gengar and Hitmonlee. Hitmonlee is excellent when it comes to attack power and fighting move mastery, but Golem has high attack also with a monster of a defense stat. Besides, earthquake is nothing to shake a stick at--his relatively high attack plus STAB is sweet there. I don't see many people with high special attack here, that's why I chose Gengar. While it doesn't learn many special attacks, its base sp atk is I believe 130 and Ive been EV training it against gastly, taught it psychic and what-not.
I have several pokemon with good attack but none with excellent sp atk, so I think I should go with Gengar. What do you guys think?
