Getting coins in the Rocket Game corner.

The lady in the rocket game corner says that different slot machines have different odds. Which one has the best odds? Also, what is a good strategy on that machine.

I always believed the slots were random. But I of course may be wrong.

I never bothered trying to win my coins..I always had enough extra cash via my Vs. Seeker to just flat out buy my coins. xD

I am not 100% sure, but I think that the machines have different odds, and they change after awhile. If you play about 5 or so times and don't win, then try another machine, and see if that one is any better. However, I think that even if that machine currently has good odds, it won't necessarily always have good odds.

I never really mess around with those slots, it seems to be much less time consuming to just buy coins with extra money earned from fighting.

I get coins searching in the ground, but never play the slots. I buy them with my own money so I don't waste my time on Game Corner.

I also don't waste my time with the slot machines. Although I do remember when I did waste my time instead of buying the coins that sometimes the machines would move one of my slots (usually the third one of the slots) to a different number, pokemon, food exc.

As far as odds go, I can't help you. But there is a good method for gaining coins (I'm the same way, I'm too cheap to buy the coins)
-Save at a slot machine
-Start playing. Remember how many coins you started with!
-Play for a little while. Try tapping in time to the music, and always bet 3.
-If you get even one coin above your original total, stop and save.
-Repeat.
-Tip: You can find some randome coins by searching the ground and also talking to people.
-Tip two: If you get three sevens on a machine, I have found that it's more likely that it will happen again, so STICK WITH THIS MACHINE.
-One more thing: The prices of pokemon are different beetween the games, so if you have both, buy it on the cheaper game and trade (For instance, in LG, Porygon is 6,500 coin, while in FR it is 9,999 coin)

I played quite a bit at the slots. I found the best way to do it was to just hit it the first two times and if somthing good lines up and you have a chance to win then try to time the last reel to hit it. I make quite a bit this way.

By differnt odds I am not sure but I have noticed while doing the timing technique sometimes the last reel will keep spinning a few seconds after I stopped it thus completely screwing up my timing. I think thats what it is.

I seldom buy the coins, it spends too much money. I'm always play at the slots to get coins, I have bought the Pokemons, TMs, and items at the Game Corner with no buying coins. Anyway, I don't know about the different odds, I have tried every slots and they're same for me.

Eh, I don't bother gambling--and it's REALLY hard to win, I tried on a ROM, and the numbers slide past even if you've got it going super slow. Dx Anyway... yeah, I just buy my coins, and it's not that much--I use my amulet coin religiously, so I'm never short on teh cash. ^_^

I don't know which one has the best odds, IF one has greater odds than the others. I usually just buy my coins if I want a prize. That's usually the easiest way to do it. ^_^

Actually, there is a trick that carried over from the R/B/Y days:

--Somewhere in the Game Corner, there should be a machine that's out of order (it should be on the left side of the area) the next machine over on the right is the machine you want
--Bet 3 coins
--When the reels start, hit "A" really quickly to stop them all. On the machine I told you about, this one pays out more often.

I've hit "777" three times in a row once on this machine, and racked up 1000+ coins very quickly.

I never gamble for coins either. It just seems more easier to buy the coins. Hmmm that trick though seems interesting...

I just bought coins. That's quicker. But I still remember, how much money I've spent to buy that stupid Porygon!!! 9,999 coins! Aargh!

I always buy the coins instead of playing the slots, it's much quicker and easier, I've never been very good at the slots; but once I lent my friend my LG and my friend managed to hit the jackpot (7-7-7) and got 300 coins and I kept all the money since it was my game

I've often wondered which machines have the best odds myself. In my experience, it must change each day. For I have one machine in particular that in one day I had a great haul, over 1500 coins in under an hour. So thinking this was the machine with the great odds, I kept going back and it has only once had another great day. There have also been times with that same machine where I've lost what seems like that amount in no time at all. So my guess is that the odds do in fact change each day, so just stick with one or two machines and wait patiently for that lucky day.
