getting Mew...

I know how to get Mew, I know he appears on random floors each time through, and I've even seen him once. (though he wouldn't join even when I had the friend area and friend bow)

just one quetion. is there some means to tell when you've come to his floor or something? I've been through so many times, and I always either miss him because of a pitfall trap or something, or he won't join.

Look at the dialogue box and look for the words: Mew picked up (insert item here) Also, Mew's recruitent rate is 0.9%.

Also look for "Mew used transform" Thats how I found mine.

In order to get him on your team make sure you have final island
Also get a friend bow from Mt. Faraway (surf required and complete firey lighting and northwind feild);004;;151;

I've bumped into Mew about 9 times already and still havn't gotten him to join me yet...your lucky for recruiting it
Im still waiting for my friend ribbon also...
It's kinda hard to find out if its on your floor too unless it picks up an item or uses transform (and it sometimes doesn't do transform...)

He is very, very helpful at purity cave!
He lvs up pretty fast and you can teach him any TM. He's crazy good. (Trust me I'm saying this from expereince) Yeah I have him

I just now unlocked Buried Relic. XD I have a level 38 Pikachu, 39 Mudkip and 41 Zigzagoon I wanted to take there. But I hear Buried Relic is really hard, so I may train a lot more before I go down there. T___T But I'm getting very anxious.

I found out where Mew was when Sceptile used Bullet Seed to kill it from off-screen
Incidentaly, a Mew appeared during a Mosnter House and defeating it didn't add his picture to the beaten legendary pokémon thing... does that mean I could have kept going and have seen another Mew?

Mew counts as a normal pokemon, only very hard to find. What I did to get my mew was I used one of those transform orbs that changes the pokemon in front of me (a arbok) to a completely different pokemon and it turned into mew :lol: You can see mew on every floor of 36-99 of buried relic.

I thought the deal was you saw Mew once per visit to the Relic?

even though u did that the pokemon is still an arbok and u can only see mew 2 times every visit to buried relic

You better tell that to the poor arbok that thinks it is a mew and that rhyhorn that thinks it is a pupitar

Also I've seen mew 4 times in one visit. You can't make accusations like that just because it is so rare

i cant get him, i have a level 75 machamp and a platinum rank. ive beaten him a dozen times and he wont join any tips

well, when I got him earlier, I was Diamond rank, using a level 90-ish Machamp (which I've since grown to 100) holding the Friend ribbon. oddly enough, I didn't have to look hard at all this time: I went down a flight of stairs and I appeared in the same room as it.

also, for anyone going through the dungeon, it isn't TOO hard. go alone with a 50+ level Poke`. (partners in my experience lag behind to fight others and use up reviver seeds. plus it only makes warp tiles more frustrating.) bring some reviver seeds to be safe, an escape orb in case you run out, PLENTY of non-rock objects (sticks, spikes, thorns) for those pesky shedinjas, (O.H.K.O.) 1-2 max elixers for when you run out of pp, and 3-5 big/huge apples for stamina. it could take awhile, but with luck, you should make it to 99 or Mew, whichever comes first.

I have go to each floor and battles over 10 on each floor and I still havn't seen him >.>
