does a chost poke like ghastly is born a ghost or like when a pokemon like i dunno....charmander dies does it then make a ghastly? and if its a ghost pokemon shouldnt it have intagibility as a natural thing. intangibility is ability to walk through solid objects

Dead pokemon become generic ghosts.

Like the Marowak in R/B.

I always assumed that they were just like ghosts, but not actual spirits... so Ghastlys are born through some means or another I guess... eggs or whatnot...

that somewhat clears the fog in my mind on the subject...now that i think of it the marowak was a spirit is R/B havent played them in so long...

1. Games =/= anime. That nullifies the Garagara argument. And no, I will not translate Garagara, go look it up.
2. What the heck difference does it make? Looking for logic in the "Pokémon" anime is like looking for an African-American in the Senate.

I think that dead pokemon become ghosts while some ghosts just form from fog i think.
