No prob. Here's what I added, with a couple tweaks. I honestly have no idea what I'm doing, so if I should change anything, please let me know so I can improve.
Soldier Signup
Name: Ignika Mahri
Gender: Male
Age: Unknown to general public. Suspected between 19 and 23.
Appearance: Ignika is currently a member of the Unovan Special Forces. His standard clothing includes the digitized camouflage of the USF including a jacket and pants with pockets full of objects. Although he does carry the standard-issue 5.56 mm rifle slung diagonally across his back and dual pistols at roughly shin-height on opposite legs, Ignika is primarily a knife specialist. His main weapons are dual 10-inch serrated Ka-bars which appear to be extremely worn from use. When wielding these, he holds them both facing backwards, i.e. the points facing behind him so that he much slash up to strike. In addition, his uniform has been specially outfitted to have numerous pockets for throwing knives of various sizes, both concealed and not. Some of the prominent visible ones are directly on his chest, auto-locked pointing upwards in such a way that he can readily access them, and a pair of larger ones on either side of his utility belt. His comrades have also seen him retrieve knives from almost any location, including being ejected from his gun. Body-wise, Ignika is in good physical shape, although not quite to the extent of some of his fellow Special Operatives, in fact, he would probably lose in any unarmed fight. He makes up for this with his weapons skills, which have reached a point where only either the most skillful or foolhardy would challenge him. His face is worn and gaunt, as though he had been starved. His eyes are dark green and deep-set.
Personality: Ignika very rarely speaks to anyone, even his colleagues. Being such an introvert, he has drawn thoroughly into a shell, the only ones inside of which are his Pokemon. They are the only ones he trusts, and no one else. Those who attempt to befriend him usually find themselves greeted with a gruff “huh” and responses consisting of “yuh” and “nuh,” if they are deigned to be spoken too at all. People can often find him in deep thought along with his Pokemon. For several hours a day, Ignika often goes AWOL, which for some reason is not investigated by the Military Police. Those who participate in missions with him often find it disturbing to talk about it because of his brutality and ruthlessness. In his own rarely spoken words, “he prefers to work alone.” Although it would be almost impossible to find someone who could accurately describe to you Ignika’s personality among those he trusts, if you could, they would tell you that he forms extremely close bonds with those he connects with. However, these bonds are not made lightly, often taking multiple years of close work and the sharing of harrowing experiences to build. Contrary to the bonds of some fellow soldiers’, his are in fact very easily broken due to the nature of his employment. He only connects with those who know he wouldn’t hesitate to leave behind—and who wouldn’t hesitate to leave him behind if it meant the success of the mission. Currently, the only known individuals he shares these tight friendships with are his team, but it has been speculated that his reason for such unforgiving companionships are the horrible actions his historical employers had him commit against people and Pokémon alike.
History: Little is known about Ignika’s past. In fact, it is suspected that “Ignika” is in fact a nickname or alias. The only known facts are that he joined the Unovan Special Forces roughly four months ago with the especial dispensation of the brass. He himself has stated that he hails from Unova originally. Clearly, he has had some sort of previous training with bladed weapons. His Pokemon are very skilled with attacks that require agility and dexterity but are somewhat lackluster in those based on brute strength, such as Standard Pokemon Military Training. It is unknown in what way they (himself and his team) received this training. Those inquiring with military hierarchy are quickly silenced. In fact, his father and mother were both members of the USP, and met while on a mission. As such, he was raised in a family constantly on the move, with little time to take care of him. As soon as he was old enough, they sent him off to a boarding school whose students were generally in his same situation. There he was treated with love and care, and he was happy. He was in constant correspondence with his parents, and they were pleased to hear such satisfactory reports. He lived this way until his junior year of high school, when his father sent him a desperate letter saying the military police had arrested his mother and refused to give an explanation. Ignika rushed home as fast as he could, only to find his mother had been deleted from all records and his father was reported to have hung himself that night after inexplicably going insane. From that moment he swore he would find out the truth about what happened to his parents, and so the next morning he signed a recruitment form for the Unovan army. He quickly advanced through the ranks, until one day he was transferred from his squad to the Special Forces after a meeting with high-ranking officials. However, there are very few individuals and even fewer humans who know the true story behind his transfer.
Pokemon Team
Name: Vakama
Gender: Male
Species: Scyther ;123;
Age: Unknown. Estimated 18-22.
Appearance: Vakama has clearly been through a few battles. His scythes are weathered but still sharp. He usually has a concentrated look on his face, as though he is thinking very hard.
Personality: Like his master, Vakama rarely communicates with other Pokemon. He is most comfortable around Ice-types particularly, and dislikes Fire-types.
History: Vakama was hatched in a breeding factory in Opelucid City by a crazed lunatic intent on conquering the world. He went through extensive training often involving harsh methods such as forcing him to kill other Pokémon and beating him to within inches of his life. As such he became very bitter and resentful of humans. When the lunatic was finally discovered and the Unovan police stormed his house, Vakama took the opportunity to slice his jugular. When the police entered after the man had stopped shooting, all they found was his lacerated body and a diminishing trail of blood. Vakama traveled ruthlessly, surviving only by sheer lack of emotional attachments.
Name: Nokama
Gender: Female
Species: Kabutops ;141;
Age: 20
Appearance: Nokama’s shell armor is scratched and battered from participation in countless battles over the years.
Personality: Nokama often has a faraway look in her eyes, and speaks to others on the team with an air of superiority, as if she knew something no one else did. Those Pokémon who attempt to speak with her are often treated with a silent sharpening of her blades on each other.
History: Nokama claims to have been revived after being dead for over 160 million years. Different members of Ignika’s team take this claim at varying levels of sincerity, but she does seem to exhibit psychic strength uncharacteristic of her species…
Name: Whenua
Gender: Male
Species: Zoroark :571:
Age: Unknown, suspected 19-20
Appearance: The second-youngest of Ignika’s team, Whenua is shorter in stature than the average Zoroark. His back is hunched. He has multiple scars (see personality).
Personality: Whenua is very eager to fight, sometimes to his own detriment. Because of his past (see history) he very much dislikes Poison-types.
History: Whenua was raised among a pack of wild Zoroark living in the deep jungle. He was captured by native men hired by a rich couple who wanted a Zorua, but when he proved to wild, they released him into the Saffron City sewer system. He survived down there by rising to the top of the pecking order and forcing other Pokémon to do his bidding.
Name: Onewa
Gender: Male
Species: Sceptile ;254;
Age: 21
Appearance: Onewa appears to be a little less physically strong but slightly more agile than other Sceptile, maintaining more qualities of his pre-evolutionary species.
Personality: Definitely the happiest and least dark member of Ignika’s team, Onewa keeps a positive but realistic outlook on life, despite his past. He often maintains morale enough to accomplish whatever needs to be done without being overwhelmed by what they’re doing.
History: Onewa is the only member of Ignika’s team who was actually raised somewhat normally, in a Pokémon breeding center in Hoenn along with his brother. However, his brother was adopted by a Trainer on his way to the Pokémon League—and almost made it. He was slain along with the rest of the Trainer’s team, particularly falling to a Hyper Beam from the Champion’s Metagross. Onewa swore to avenge his brother. One day his breeding center burned to the ground for unknown reasons, and he was rescued by a Trainer on his way through Hoenn. They have stuck together ever since.
Name: Matau
Gender: Male
Species: Toxicroak ;454;
Age: 22
Apperance: Matau’s hand claws are greatly extended and sharpened beyond the capacities of the standard Toxicroak. They are also retractable.
Personality: Matau does what he has to do. He knows there are certain things he must do as the Pokémon of a soldier, and he does them. He doesn’t speak of them very much, except to his teammates. His closest friend is Whenua.
History: Matau was raised in a pack of wild Toxicroak. However, this pack used unusual techniques for strengthening their members: they injected each other with nonlethal doses of their own poison. At least they thought they were nonlethal. Those who survived the toxin’s ravages built up an immunity, eventually to the point where it didn’t affect them at all. At the same time, it made their own poisons much, much stronger; the chief of the pack’s poisons were strong enough to kill any being smaller than a whale in seconds. Luckily, Matau survived, until his pack was scattered by an attack of wild Reuniclus one night. Ignika rescued him as a Croagunk.
Name: Nuju
Gender: Male
Species: Gallade ;475;
Age: 17
Appearance: Nuju has permanently etched on his face a look many find hard to place—in fact, it is a look of mixed determination and sadness. Even those who can place it can only wonder at what brought such a once-noble Pokémon to its current state.
Personality: Nuju interacts with other people and Pokémon the least out of the entire team; as such not much is known about how he acts save his omnipresent expression. Upon joining the team, he had a heroic outlook, believing himself to be protecting and defending his native land. However he came to grips with the harshness of his job over the years, eventually turning into the absolute opposite of the stereotypical Gallade.
History: Nuju was raised as a Ralts in a location whose name roughly translates to “Forest of the Shrouded Trees.” He had a happy life until a tactical strike by the Unovan forces against a Gijinka fugitive drew him into the confusion, leading to the young Kirlia witnessing events he still refuses to speak of to this day to anyone except Ignika.
Weapons/Equipment: Included in Appearance. Also equipped with minimum standard issue survival gear and smoke/fragmentation grenades, along with a comm device implemented through a VOX mic set and earphone.
