I would imagine they can't breed because they haven't reached Four Island yet.

i don't have dugtrio or nidorino on my team anymore now i have snorlax and poliwhirl.

lol when i was in silph co my charizard was lv 50-60... i beat giovanni with just flamethrowers, i personally think that you would be ok, u have dugtrio and a charizard... it should work

the lapras you get right before giovanni can be awesome if you take the time to train it. i got to it as directly as i could, then went around beating all the trainers with it, so i could level it as much as i could. 4 days later, it's level 80 and my best pokemon.

My ideas are to train Kadabra until it's about lv.50-60. There's a helpful hint. I've clocked FireRed so it depending on your starter pokemon.
