Here I am, with my first bashing fic, actually bashing Advance shipping (which is a counter to MidnightJewlez’s fic )

Ash Ketchum normally never got mad. However, there were moments he could lose his temper. And that’s how we ended up here.

You’ll probably never understand it, unless I lay it out for you.

Well, it’s like this, Ash and May were going out. It was ok, until they went through a bad break up.

And bad is an understatement.

So, long story short, Ash and May hated each other’s guts currently.

Erm… I can’t explain this properly, maybe this will…

Ash: I wake up every evening, with a big smile on my face
And it never feels out of place

May: And your still probably working at a 9 to 5 pace
I wonder how bad that tastes

After the bit of a temper spike, it seemed that, after a few weeks, they finally calmed down, and became friends again.

*A MONTH LATER*

Ash sighed, leaning back in his sofa, when a certain memory came back to his head.

“We were really mad at each other…” he muttered, the memory coming back. It was that moment when he realized that, no matter how bad that was, it was over.

But still, Ash hated his temper.

But suddenly, he heard the same song playing on the TV. Ash sat up, and saw the actual Music Video, played in a similar fashion.

“What the f-” Ash began.

to the fic now. this looks like a songfic for 'bashing' advanceshipping. isn't that againest the rule or something? IDK, i have bad memory.

Meh, I just labled it bashing, but it really isn't.

okay, wow... XD;

I saw this, and of course, being part advanceshipper, I thought >O no, I'm just kidding, and I was like gotta go flame this person now >O kidding... again!

Anyway, I really don't care about bashing fics, so long as they're funny and bash everyone ^____^ the only time I really dislike bashing is when the author is attempting a serious story and then bashes the opposing ship/character to whatever ship they support. That's annoying. Bashing fics, not so much

But this fic.... well, it wasn't much of a fic, now was it? ^^;; all you basically did was introduce the fic, then copy the song, then conclude the fic. There was no story there. Unless, of course, you want to consider the song your story.

I get that songfics are basically fanfics that have lyrics of a song that the story sort of, well, leans on. But your fanfic had no story. Just you saying that Ash and May argued, and then the lyrics of the song were c/p-ed, and then Ash saw a music video of the song on it.

I don't know what's worse though, the fact that you put zero effort in this or the fact that you just wanted to post it so you can say it was a bashing fic.

I know that you're not a newbie to writing and that you can, in fact, write. But, come on, this isn't writing. This can't even be considered a fanfic.

It's too bad though, you really could've done an awesome bashing fic with this song since the American Rejects are the epitome of awesomeness ;o;
