Glee: Season 3 + The Glee Project

Banana Knight Arthur

NEGATIVE MINUS
Elekible- Maybe in your opinion but I like for Emma to get some more storylines and could stay in the show. We could also do without Beiste, the principal, Brittany and a quite few others to be honest (Okay no Glee couldn't survive without Brittany, she's pretty much the more funniest one there).

The show could also survive without Finn, infact everyone but Finn, Rachel, Blaine and Kurt might as well be filler characters, wouldn't be surprised if the writers though only they could take it. And even then Finn/Blaine are only getting screentime due to the fact they are dating the core two.

S1 dealt with many of the characters fine, although Tina, Santana and Brittany could have been worked on a little harder. (And at that time Mike was more of a filler character then anything)

Well all those main ones you mention are graduating, Finn, Rachel and Kurt were confirmed, and considering Blaine is Kurt's age, he must be graduating too.

Blaine is a Junior (stated in 3x02). He will not be graduating.

Willow's Tara

The Bewitched
Ah, isn't Tina and Artie the only ones not going because they are juniors? I thought the rest of the students were confirmed

ROAWR!
I absolutely loved The First Time and it made me love Finn again, something I haven't done since S1. Loved the affirmation of Klaine love, and seriously the model strut Kurt does in the ever so slightly depressing gay bar is just perfect. I am really liking what the writers are doing with Tina, that is giving her a presence rather than being that Asian girl in the background.

Oh goodie, more of a reason for a Klaine break-up, Kurt leaves to NY or Broadway or wherever, and Blaine returns to Dalton, as his "heart" no longer is at McKinley, opening up the field for Sebastian <3.

The only reason Blaine is around is because of Kurt, and if he goes back to Dalton there wouldn't be a reason for the show to follow him. I know he's a huge favorite, but I feel like he's too tied to Kurt to be able to have a plot on his own. That's just me though. I don't see him and Kurt breaking up because of graduation.

Am I the only one who was wicked upset that Karofsky transferred to another school for senior year? I was so excited when I saw his name appear on the opening credits. =\

Roronoa Zoro

Cracks begin to show
Wow, to say the least this has been an intense episode. I hope the Quinn/Shelby relationship is resolved. Quinn is one of my favorite characters, but it sucks to see her stoop so low.

Izit cuz I is black?
They've really kept the show more grounded this season, haven't they? For better or worse, it's a lot more serious than even the first season. It's about time they followed up on Santana's lesbianism, and addressed the fact that her relationship with Brittany really isn't a healthy one. The snide friction between Finn and Santana has finally brought us some genuine drama. All that said, I hope that they wrap the self-acceptance arc up in the next episode before it outstays its welcome.

The two election plots are really starting to feel like the mistake they made in season 1 of having two pregnancy plotlines running simultaneously. While they're not badly handled, it's just taking up a lot of time and I just don't feel like it's going to matter much in the long run. Apparently the student body president is being elected next episode though, so it won't be dragged out too much longer. Also, dodgeball? Really? That's the big turning point in Kurt's campaign?

Then there's the Beth drama, which I feel is currently the best thing about the show. Quinn's dialogue is a bit too melodramatic at times, but otherwise they've done a good job making me care about what happens to the characters. Puck and Shelby have great chemistry and I'm enjoying having Idina Menzel around so much.

Finally, the scene between Rachel and Shelby was so sweet without being saccharine, and I love when the show nails that balance. I really like their fond, yet fractured, relationship and the actresses really are spookily like a real mother and daughter.

Peter Quill

star-lord
Gotta love how Ryan Murphy punches all his female characters in the face.

Although I usually take Glee with a grain of salt, the gay bar scene made me feel so incredibly uncomfortable and I have no idea what he was thinking when he wrote it.

Finn b*tch slapped by Santana FTW! Seriously, the last 5 minutes of the episode were the best this week IMO : the Adele mash-up, there's just literally no words to describe it, and then the slap... OMG! I always loved Santana but here I just adore her!

The whole Quinn-Shelby plot was really nice as well, I like how Shelby didn't try to get sneaky or to keep her feelings for herself and instead confront Quinn directly, I wonder how this will affect Puck's involvement in Beth's life and also his relation with Quinn?

Wow great episode.

Santana and Finn both going much too far, and Santana got hurt the most (which led to my favorite glee song since PokerFace, seriously Rumors/Someone Like You was AMAZING!)

Also Rachel made me so proud, actually chosing a friend over herself was so touching.

The one thing that bugged me is that Finn gave the solo to Rory....but then Finn sang it!

Yeah, Rumor Has It/SLY has gotten a lot of bad press or people that say Adele CAN"T be covered well ever, but I like the GLEE covers just as much as the originals <3

I just didn't like the mash-up because I don't feel like those songs go well together. Mostly in the melodies, I can see how the lyrics can fit, but one song is so powerful and loud and full of emotion, which imo the other is softer and more accepting of what's going on. Idk, I suck at reviewing music, don't mind meeee.

Anyway, I'm excited about Tuesday's episode.

Apparently, in next episode, Santana will (finally) sing Katy Perry's 'I Kissed A Girl'... Everybody kinda expected that but as long as Santana sings, I'm OK with that!

BTW, does anyone know what is going on between Glee and Katy Perry? I mean, they have done a lot of coverage of her songs : Firework, Teenage Dream, Last Friday Night... And on the other hand, Artie and Blaine appeared in TGIF's video clip... I mean I don't have anything against that or whatever (the Warblers' coverage of Teenage Dream is one of the song I'll always love and listen everyday on my IPod), but it just seemed curious to me, what do you think?

And also, do you think Katy Perry could potentially appear as a guest in the show? This can be interesting, for instance for Rachel, to get the opinion of someone from the inside of this business and stuff...

Did anyone else think that the last episode ended kinda suddenly? Like one minute the cast is singing one of the best songs ever, then there was the slap which was played out very well which was immediately followed by the credits. I felt like I was only like half-way through the episode when it ended.

The fact that they're gonna sing 'I kissed A Girl' SUCKS cos there are way more better song choices out there which are actually sung by lesbian singers, not fake lesbians like Katy Perry.

Yeah, thanks, I remember it now!
I really like Katy Perry's songs' coverages they have done so far, but it feels like they have a quota of KP songs to showcase in the show or something. Anyway, does this mean that Santana will come out officially next week?
