God created earth in six days and rested on the seventh, The earth was created after the "Big Bang", But in the pokemon world is there a god?, Is mew the god, Whats your views

That really sounds pretty dumb but I am sure that mew isn't a god. Why in the world would mew be God? What is going through your head? Don't answer any of that. There is no God is the pokemon world and if there is, then it is the creator of pokemon.

Leave it out he has an interesting point actually.

As for me? I don't believe in God, more so in the Pokemon World. And Mew just has the DNA of all Pokemon, that's all.

Mew is not god. It was only the first pokemon, sort of like the first life form on earth.

Great imaginaction and use of logic! I would say yes. About the mew part.
I only belive in 1 god. But the pokemon wourld there should be 4 gods.

I think it could be said as a theory in Pokemon world, like God or evolution in our world. Also, if there is a God of Pokemon, I would agree there may be multiple ones.

There's as much gods in real life as there is in the Pokemon world, It all simply depends on the religion that the person has. If that said religion told that person that the universe is created by a god then be it. But Pokemon world is more Scifi than Fantasy so if we look at Pokemon logic, then mew is just the first specie on that planet. Which proves that animals came first before pokemon because bacteria (or viruses for there simple structure) is the true first life on that planet unless proven otherwise from the creator himself.

In otherwords, to answer you question it all depends on which religion of that universe you're part of. Like in the anime, there's a religion that claims that Ho-oh is the creator of the universe. But if you looking for logic, then the universe is born the same way as ours, The Big Bang.

Actually in one of the very early episodes Brock said something about Noah and that one girl from the baby Lugia episode said something about her grandfather in heaven. Also, if you listen very closely to the one episode where Caroline (May's Mom) has the fireworks done for her by Norman, it sounds like shes says "Lord" when Team Rocket came by. But, of coarse I could be wrong. So, there is a God and some kind of relligion in the Pokemon world.

If Groudon, Rayquaza, Kyogre, Mew, etc were gods, why can they be defeated by inferior pokemon? Why do they allow themselves to be abused and controlled by man? If they were gods then they would have limitless power, and wouldn't be subject to the sort of crap they are presented with in the games/anime.

Uh no. I say 'Lord' and 'God' and 'Jesus Christ' all the time when I am swearing. That doesn't mean I beleive in their existance of beings of grandeur.

Also, this is General Discussion not the Debate Forum. So don't turn it into an argument over beliefs and personal asthetics please.

Let's look at it this way;

If God had created Earth, he would have been able to create Mew, or, in which case, the supposable God of Pokemon, in the said process. Therefor, the God of Pokemon may have decided to make Pokemon at his own will.

...maybe that's just me, but I guess it works...

Because if we couldn't capture them and order them around in battles, the game would be stupid! Who cares if they raised the continents and created the oceans- We want uber battles!
