Goh or Chloe?

Both characters seem to be pretty bad reactions from both sides of the world, Chloe was slightly above Iris in the latest popularity polls for girls which isn’t a good thing.

Than there’s Goh who’s been pretty bad received as well.

I’m curious who’s the most likable of the two though.

Who do you think is the best?

Goh because he has the bigger role so we get to see more of him actually improving his goal. He's not the best travel buddy that Ash has had but I don't think he's anywhere as bad as some people claim.

Goh, he's an amazing character with a fun personality, has one of the best dynamics with Ash, and has fantastic episodes and his character has had great history and writing based around his characterization
His goal on the other hand sucked but Project Mew improved on that too

I chose neither. Goh goal is my main issue with him. While Chloe just became uninteresting to me as the series continued.

Chloe by a slight margin 'cause at least she doesn't piss me off unlike Goh who just collects Pokemon because he feels like it.

I think Gou is more likeable than Koharu, based mostly on the fact that we've gotten to know him more than her, so by default he's the more interesting character of the two from my viewpoint.

I think both should stay really. You don’t really get a lot of lure from any of them and I get it’s because the PWC is a central focus but still

I like him and his friendship with Ash. Shame he was subject to so many questionable decisions and plain bad writting.

At this point i can’t get myself to even pretend i care for either of them. Goh should on paper be more interesting since he has appeared more, but the writing for him has been so boneheaded it’s all the same with the lack of effort with most of chloe’s.

The two can’t leave fast enough.

goh. he doesn't deserve all the hate he gets. his goal could be executed better but personality-wise i think he's a solid character

i like chloe too though. she's just not around as much as goh

Neither of them. I never thought Iris and Cilan would be topped as the worst companions, but man Journeys proved me wrong with its horrid writing.

Chloe is the more tolerable of the two, but at this point she only exists to be a marketing tool for Eevee. So obvious to the point Yamper has been forgotten by the writers.

Goh is not only the most divisive character in Journeys, but the entire anime series to date. Gets handed powerful Pokémon on a silver platter, exists only to advertise a super-popular 6-year-old mobile spinoff, several of his Pokémon’s evolutions are rushed and undeserved, and he is the biggest example of a “writer’s pet” in the anime. He always steals the spotlight from Ash and Chloe, even in episodes that focus on those two and not him. It got me even having constant fears that he’ll replace Ash as the face of the anime because of all this special treatment he keeps getting.

Neither is my cup of tea but I would choose Goh if I had a gun pointed at my hand. At least he's kind of funny when he wants to be.

Chloe fo sho' I didn't really like Goh as a character from his catching style to his overall personality and I really liked Chloe struggle but get back and showed more development (unpopular, but imo) than Goh.
Yay Chloe is winning!

Chloe is a nice character. The problem is that she has gone just about nowhere despite all of the focus episodes from what I can tell. Goh at least has something remotely close to progression.

I find it difficult to pick one over the other in terms of "who is better".
