My favorite was crystal. I liked the plot better, and I start with Totodile. Alligators bring me back to my New Orleanian heritage. And they are kool.

Crystal (moving sprites) i think that is cool. and Cyndaquil he is cool. maybe Totdile but most likly fire starter

Better than before!
Gold or Crystal. I want to catch a wild Mareep, but Raikou is usually the first dog I seen and caught. I use Mareep in Gold, and substitute it with Raikou in Crystal.

Silver. Never liked Gold, Crystal was ok, but Silver I think was the game I put more effort into, since most of my characters were above Level 70
