Good lapras nickname

Okay, Im in the Silph Co. and I just got my lapras. Here's the problem, I need help getting a good name for her. Can you help me out?;131;

Well:

You could use the Nintendo method-ex.
Beautifly --> Tifly
Pikachu --> Pekachu
Lotad -->Tado
etc.

You could give it a random "person" name, depending on its gender-ex.

Lily

You could use a trait-ex.
Cacnea --> Needle
Ditto --> Amorphous
In your case: Lapras --> Surfer (not a good example)

You could put some things together-ex.
Blastoise --> Tidalshell
Charizard --> Fire Bug
Girafrig --> Longneck

You could be completely random-ex.
Porygon --> Guhwilfur
Quagsire --> Dhroll
Electrode --> Gizurgemplot

Again, the Nintendo method of mixing letters works well in some cases. Try some for what sounds best.

In Japan, Lapras was Laplace after Pierre-Simon Laplace, a mathematician who wrote formulas about the probability as to whether the sun will rise tomorrow, but Lapras was named after him because he calculated something about the tides and waves, etc.

I name mine Laplace, considering a scientist gives it to you, and the fact that it's kind of sad NoA (perhaps unintentionally) removed this reference.

Yuki: It's an ice type and yuki is Japanese for snow, I think
Nessie: Since Lapras is based on the Loch Ness monster
Freezie: Cute ice type name
Glacia: Another Ice elemental name
Marina: Water elemental name
Mizu: Japanese for water
Seabreeze: I like this one XD
Shellie: Because Lapras has a shell
Umi: I think it means either Sea or Ocean
Aurora: Another Ice name

i'd name it something related to ice or water:
Sparta is a good one in my opinion, but there are also plenty of others such as Mizu which means water in Japanese, Lapi. Or try thinking of words you like and mix up the letters: ice and water = Rectiwa.
