Good physical sweeper?

I want to challenge the Pokemon UK champion (Who goes to my school) and I need a good physical sweeper for my squad. Could someone please suggest one with a good moveset and held item?

These are the other Pokemon I will be using:

Latias ;380;
Alakazam ;065;
Camerupt ;323;
Wailord ;321;
Snorlax ;143;

Though not in this order.

well, if you're using ubers, i'd suggest groudon.

outside of that, though, there's still plenty of options: medicham, salamence, metagross, heracross, dodrio, swampert, aerodactyl, and crobat are just a few that come to mind.

pick one, and i'll give you a set.

I think Salamence is a good physical sweeper along with Metagross. Depends on your needs, though. Salamence has a big 4x weakness to Ice, Ice Beam being a very common attack, it's kind of risky choosing him. If you can use ubers Groudon is the best.

the cool thing about salamence is that it has a lot of workable sets:

CBmence @ Choice Band
adamant nature
EVs: 252 attack/speed, 6 HP
earthquake
aerial ace
rock slide
double-edge

DDmence @ lum berry
adamant nature
252 attack, enough EVs in speed to get to 264 (if level 100), rest in special defense or HP
dragon dance
earthqake
aerial ace
rock slide/brick break/flamethrower/fire blast

fire-type move in the last slot if you fear skarm/forry/other steel-type. mostly skarm.

there's also elemence, but that's a special sweeper.

CBmence has Fire Blast, and DDmence has leftovers.


So CBMence would be:

Salamence @ Choice Band
Adamant Nature
EVs: 252 Attack - 252 Speed - 4 HP
- Aerial Ace (or Hidden Power Flying if you can get it)
- Rock Slide
- Earthquake
- Fire Blast

And DDmence would be:

Salamence @ Leftovers
Adamant Nature
252 Attack, enough speed for 264 speed at level 100 and rest in HP.
- Aerial Ace or HP Flying if you can get it
- Dragon Dance
- Rock Slide
- Earthquake

CBmence has Fire Blast, and DDmence has leftovers.

DDmence works with lum berry. burn/paralysis both cripple your sweeping ability.

DDmence was the main reason I had a sapphire battle tower team make it to 208 consecutive wins while I also had metagross & starmie in the party.

...I'm intrigued to why Alakazam's in your original list. He's a special sweeper, not a physical one(unless you put all EV's into HP and defence...then maybe Counter could work...hmm...)

Alakazam isn't a physical sweeper. It's in his original list because

Salamence and Tyranitar are good Pysical sweepers., yes, and Metagross too.

Sczior is also another good pyshical sweeper. He already has pretty high attack and if you can get a few Sword Dances off...

Metagross, Salamence, Tyranitar, Slaking, Medichan (←highest attack), Heracross, Machamp, Hariyama, Crobat (←Just holding Choice band), Aerodactyl, Swampert...
Everyone above work excelently as a Psychical sweper.

I think Tyranitar is a better choice for THIS team, among all 6, if you use salamence, half of it has a fast water pokémon weakness (408% of water pokés has ice beam and surf). if you use Tyranitar, you won´t have this great disvantage.

Also if I were you, I won´t use Wailord and Camerupt, one hit and they´re KO! Wairein, Milotic, Starmie, or even gorebyss work hundred times better than Wailord and Typhlosion or houndoom instead of Camerupt. Well, you didn´t asked for a rate, but I´m heling.

If you switch Wailord and Camerupt, it´s better Metagross, you´ll need a Psychical tank.

but you can teach ghost attacks to a normal type

blastoise: mystic water if you had one for the starter

flame thrower
sky upper cut/ the cool thing about this move you can hit pokemon
that are useing bounce and fly but it wont be super effective

metegross: twisted spoon the only two type of attaks that are super effective against this pokemon is fire and ground
psychic
iron deffence
shadow ball
mteor mash

Aerodactyl, with the right moveset/nature/item/Evs/IVs is pretty darn fast physical sweeper.

If you play emerald, you could try out multiple Sweepers as EQ, Rock slide and swords dance is unlimited.
