I've played through most of the gta's, the only ones I haven't played are the original gta and gta 2. But the next gta looks interesting from the trailers and I pray that it is released sometime around the end of this year or the beginning of next year as it looks like there are a lot of development to be done for the game.

I actually haven't played most of the GTA games. The one i played the most is San Andeas and that would also be my favourite.

I was unaware of GTA V and i'll put in a description when i know all the game titles. My favourite games from the GTA series are San Andreas and IV. What was everyones favourite vehicle from the series?

I'll probably give GTA IV a try on the xbox. Not too sure though as it's not really my kind of game. I just like the part where you drive and run over people. Getting stars and then being on the run is also quite fun!

I've played every GTA game except III, and that's because my graphic card back then was incompatible with the game and the city textures wouldn't load properly. So I only saw cars and people floating in an endless empty space full of invisible walls. And playing like that gets boring after like, 10 minutes.

I haven't also beaten GTA IV, I recently got Grand Theft Auto IV: The Complete Edition at the Holiday Steam sales, so I'll get to that in due time (huge backlog heh).

My favourite GTA game is definitely GTA2, and I played that one a lot. It is the perfect GTA game, the only thing it lacked was motorbikes.

If I were to rank the GTA games I played, it'd be something like this:
GTA2 > GTA: San Andreas > GTA1 > GTA: Vice City > GTA Chinatown Wars.

Overall though, the series is one I would never place anywhere near my "favourite games" list, just games I enjoy to play every now and then.

I hope GTAV will go right back to basics, the stuff that made GTA so great in the first place - pure mayhem.

I tell you, nothing like turning on all cheat codes, using your Rocket Launcher and Jetpack flying all around San Andreas, and just destroying everything and getting away with it :)

This is the perfect post. I really enjoyed San Andreas. I also loved some of the glitches in it. Although, the only one I own is IV. I enjoy it, a lot. Although, I'm far more into just running around and doing crazy stuff, and every now and then doing the story. But that's just how I play. I'll probably do the story one day, but I really do enjoy being silly.
