Through the blurred mess of the video, you can tell that the pokemon have been severely revamped, but how far?
Do you think they will improve the dodgy things of the older sprites movements? Eevee will randomly backflip & float when he attacks. Lugia flaps around in total pain, even if he is lvl 100 & has been attacked by a lvl 2 magikarps tackle. koffing has clearly has no eyes, just carboard ones stuck on. Tentacruel floats higher then a rayquaza using fly, so if a pikachu tackles it, it's going to miss by miles.

On a side note.
The actually hit each other thing is not entirely new. A glitch happened on my xd where walreins iceball went to far and he actually appeared on the screen showing his victim dying.
And whats with the pikachu, wailord thing? On the colouseum first screen shots, there is a pikachu, using thunder, on a wailord.

Yes the should bring back some things like animations after you took a suppereffective hit or a weak hit, but weak hit needs to be something like an animation, not that the pokemon just stands there, and tentacruel must float lower yes.

Yes, when I saw the first pics of the game, the first thing I noticed was that the Pokemon were more rounded out than the boxy Colo/XD sprites. The animation for Super effective/Neutral/Not effective attacks should be different, like on Emerald's sound for the hits.

Victreebel can't stay on Ground.It's his nature to float.Even Snap that had Pokemon in their Normal State had it floating.

The pikachu-wailord relation is because whaling is illegal, and since Pokemon wants kids to be influenced to do illegal things, it's showing kids that you should hunt down whales. And that thunder is a great asset for whaling.

they also have to change things like, venomoth dustox and beedrill are flying( I don't mean the type, I mean like floating), but then you use EQ against them , I mean the ground shakes and they are flying, they have at least to make it look like the suffer from the EQ, like hit them with some parts of the ground.
And it is also the other way around there are some flying pokemon/levitate pokemon(like charizard, flygon and dodrio), that stay on the ground during a EQ but aren't effected, I mean let them fly up a little during the quake so it looks that they aren't hit.

the thing that annoyed me was how looong it took for mons to be back in their balls eg Togepi and Beldum is hell. and about the flying thing, another glitch is that when Pokemon use fly, they sit in the air, not flapping wings or anything. it's just so stupid. and im not too keen on the split screen thing...it's gonna be hell for the small tv in my room.

and why the hell would Victreebel float? it doesnt float!

And whats stupid?When a pokemon is hurt by confusion its just like something invisible attacks it,they should make it run into something.
Crunch should have more difference then bite,Like it did ,but It could of been better.

The split screen thing is only when their sent out.
Instead of each pokemon coming out their pokeballs seperately, all four come out at once & the screen splits, to cut out the gap in between. Don't worry.
Pokes like geodude and victreebell float when the should not. Geodude, is a rock, & it's emerald pokedex (I know pokedex have ziltch to do with the real thing.) says it walks on its arms. Victreebell is on the ground on the anime. it is just dun by lazy nits. Steelix does not float, much. It's tail is on the ground, but it is in an impossible position in which it would just fall over.
Yes i also noticeced that tentacruel is lower on XD.

Also, ithink floating pokemon, shud fall to the ground when frozen, and stay there until it thaws. That wud be funny.

Lol Id love to watch a pokemon like rayquaza just get turned into an ice cube and drop down.
And When Pokemon faint I think they hsould just get withdrawn.
Would I make a noise if I fainted?Well I probably would..but not my normal noise!

Since the move graphics are much more advanced, you wonder how it would look when an attack misses... Like, would Pikachu just jump by Deoxys, and would the Thunder hit a spot not far from Wailord? Or would it just say "The attack missed!" and no animation would take place?
