    i vote for nuzleaf cos he is really cool and was one of the first of the first 3rd series pokemon i found on sapphire and cos i have a level 100 shiftry on it too.

    It's got to be ivysaur as he has good attack and with a sludge bomb, could do a lot of damage to Nuzleaf. Nuzleaf's extrasensory would do well but without stab isn't as good as an ivysaur sludgebomb.
    Anyhoo, Venusaur is way better than Shiftry in my opinion, so i suppose i would have picked Ivysaur regardless.
