A voyage sets sail from the mainland for the reef, the boat filled with exuberant faces everyone sharing the same feeling of excitement as they prepare for the challenge of the lifetime. The boat approaches a complex which seems to be built over the reef itself, as ocean breezes and assorted water Pokémon swim about and a flock of Wingulls set atop of the complex. The boat slowly comes to a stop, as the Captain says over the loud speaker :
"Welcome to Great Battle Reef!"
Everyone gets off the boat and onto the dock as you see a sign welcoming challengers and you ask yourself, “Am I ready or will I drown in defeat?”
RULES:
1). This is a Wi-Fi and Simulator League (PO/PS)
2) No Team Revealing; If you want to post a replay you must get permission from your opponent.
3) Wins and Losses must be confirmed by both players. Not reporting these will result in your matches not counting.
4) Rematches can be done every 24 hours.
5) Great Battle Reef leaders must maintain activity, and must battle often. This means no “Johning” or denying challenges without valid reasons. Doing this more than twice will cause you to lose your spot as a leader.
6) Should the leaders have a valid reason to deny a challenge, the challenger must be respectful to the leader's decision.
7) Follow all SPPF rules.
8) Follow all standard battling clauses, any additional tier rules would be included below.
9) To conquer the Great Battle Reef you must defeat every Reef Leader; this could include a combination of Wi-Fi and Simulator Wins.
10) Most battles are Best-of-3 (First to two wins). Random battle/Challenge Cup will be Best-of-5 (First to three wins), and Ocean Battle will be Best-of-1 (first to one win).
11) Challengers and Leaders must both maintain a friendly environment; no flaming/trolling will be tolerated in this league.
12) Wait one hour after eating before entering the water.
13) Don't drown!
