Groudon. As I see him.

Title says the point of this thread. Those who remember my previous art thread about Rayquaza, hopefully remember, that I can't draw Pokémons with out editing them to look as I'd like them to be really. Get that?
Here's "original" version of Groudon, just because you could compare it and my own...
I make Groudon look more... dino-ish or something. MUCH longer legs, because Groudon's legs are too short to move fast. There ain't even knees. Groudon DOES NOT HAVE those big horns, but I think he looks cool with them, I can't draw him anymore without the horns...
Those big scales are protecting from the heat when he's sleeping in the lava, and most hits. I'd explain it like that.
And the tail. I have thought that he can use it as "chopping-weapon" or sumthin'.
The real Groudon is so helpless with out slightly longer arms and legs. I can just imagine what it would look, if he accidendly falls on his back. He can't get up xD.

Enough yadda-yadda.

this one seems more... wiry then the original. Though I kinda like bulky Groundon a tad more...

his right arm looks a bit thicker then his left for some reason... the armor is wonderfully done, as are the claws and tail...

Dude! That's... freakin' awesome. It looks so much more evil now. I looove it!
The one arm does look a little thicker than the other, but that's not very noticable.

I like the way how you drew Groudon, seeing as it looks more evil/intimitading that the orginal thing.

The wrist that's on the other side of your Groudon's body is thicker then the once facing us, but it's not really noticiable.

Wow, that's really awesome, and I like it better than the original. =]
It looks a lot eviller, but I think it's kind of cute too and looks a bit like Kabutops. ^^;;

That is awesome! It looks way better and fiercer than the orginal. I like those claws and the armor. It kinda reminds me of Blue Eyes White Dragon. Anyway, I wish the original Groudon looked like that.

I haven't noticed that thickness in the other arm but I guess it's not so important xD.
But... Blue Eyes? I can not see anything similar between them...

Heavy metal CD cover xDD. That was good.
I'd color it, but I don't want to color the original one, and I have to wait untill I get PhotoShop or something... wraah.

And I want to say a word about "my" Groudon's size. I remember that somewhere is said that the REAL Groudon is just 3,51 m tall. That's... Well.
In my view of measure, a normal human would be size of his EYE.
Ohh... Gigantic Pokémons....
The size adds it's own thing in to the controlling the Pokémon. I think, the bigger the Pokémon is, the more respectable it is.

Dude, 3 hours to draw that?! Would have taken several for me (but the result would have been slightly similar, yours being better).
