Groudon based team?

Im having some issues with my current team, its supposed to be groudon based and im having trouble picking good pokemon to go with it.... i have the groudon, which i think is good... and then i have a Ho-oh, its good to, so i believe... but then from there ive tried experimenting but nothings really good, so i need some suggestions for pokemon, and movesets...

Hmm its a little weird to base a team around 1 pokemon.... If I were you I would choose some pokemon I like and make them as strong as possible.

yes, you could give him rs to get rid of annoying spikes, but I'd stick w/one of the pwrful specials he can learn. make sure you at least have surf and psychic for stab

I'd try to find a grass type you like to take advantage of chorophyll trait and the move synthesis. Vileplume with leech seed and aromatherapy maybe off the top of my head.

exeggutor works well in tandem with groudon, as drought activates exeggutor's chlorophyl, and charges up sunny day. now with an exeggutor that has:

solar beam
sleep powder
psychic
hp fire/explosion/double-edge/filler

you can take out the water types that come in to ruin your fun before they can attack.
