Groudon or ditto decision...

If a friend offered to trade to you one of the following 2 pokemon, which would you choose, and please explain why:

1. Groudon, Gentle Nature, average in abilities, relatively good defense

2. Ditto, Adamant Nature, impressive in abilities, flawless HP/Attack/Speed

I will explain my decision later...

Groudon. He his cheap, but it's better than having a Ditto, which is a piece of absolute crap.

And what if Ditto transforms into a pokemon with special attacks like Alakazam? I guess that Admant nature is USELESS! HAH!

When ditto transforms, I think its target's stats, save for HP, are added on to its own stats, making it potentially better than the foe. I think flawless HP would help it greatly, seeing as it can't copy the foe's HP, and the speed will help it get in a preemptive transform more often. So, I'd take the Ditto. It has flwaless stats where, IMO, it needs them the most. I have three Groudons anyway.

give for it hold everstone and breed for any psychical sweper pokemon (inheriting attack and speed) it will be better than a useless pokemon (I think that lengendary are useless, because in BF we can´t use and my friends stated some rules, banned legendary is one of 4 rules) and relatively good is the best stat? this mean that the best stat is at max 15 so I´d go with ditto.

Depends on the version(s) I have.

If I had Ruby or Emerald, I'd prefer the Ditto. Hands down. Mostly on Ruby for the lack of Ditto, and the fact that I can fight Groudon over and over and get an actually worthy Pokémon...

If I had any other Version... it'd be debatable. If that Ditto I'm gonna get has perfect IVs, I'd rather get it, though. At the end, it'll be way more useful. Still, for people that want 00bers, the Groudon would be better, I guess...

I don't know WTF that old ball of dung can do that the IV Calculator on this site. The only thing that prune of a human is good for is figuring out quickly whether or not you have a 31 in a certain Stat. Otherwise, IV Calculator>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>old man. Not like the IV Calculator can't tell you about perfect IVs anyway ._.

Anyway, I'd go for the Ditto. Groudon are easy to get with a good Nature(that one doesn't even have a good one in the first place, actually ¬_¬), but good-Natured Dittos......That's tougher.

For those of you wondering, here's my decision: ditto

Why? groudon may be great for short-term purposes such as defeating gym leaders or the elite 4, and showing off to friends, but when it comes to the battle frontier, it is disqualified. Plus this groudon I specified is of the worst possible stats it can have along with such a crappy nature which I'd often reset if I captured one of such.

Here's why the ditto: it may not be useful for battle, but with it has flawless IVs in HP/attack/speed along with the best attack nature. Give it an everstone in emerald and place it in the breeding center along with the desired physical sweeper such as salamence or metagross and its offsprings can inherit 3 IVs from its parents thus increasing the outcome of having that pokemon to raise with godly stats that would beat the crap out of this sucky groudon.

Ditto, mainly because I don't like Groundon. I'm not a fan of the legendaries anymore :/
Besides, Ditto has the better stats, or at least it seems so. *was never good with natures/IV/EVs/whatever else I missed* o_o
