I'm almost completely certain that Diamond/Pearl will be the Gold/Silver for Ruby and Sapphire. (Meaning that it will be a new place that is introducing newer ways to do things and better ways of doing them. It will be more strategical than R/S/E just like G/S/C was for R/B/G/Y.) So, the way I see it, these are the new Lugia and Ho-Oh.

I really doubt it... The closest GF has gotten to any representation of something having to do with heaven or hell would be Togetic (kind of angelic looking), Blissey (see Togetic), and Houndoom (which is obviously a hellhound)...

The most likely thing that they would represent I think are Ying/Yang or balance in general. Not night and day specifically (although that could be used) but two extremities. (Ex. Representation of Life and Death, Peace and War, Ignorance and Knowledge, etc.)

Isn't that the whole point of message boards. Where people can come and lay their thoughts and ideas down to let other people debate whether they might be accurate or not. What else are we going to do until the information is released? It's always fun to come and speculate with other people.

Speculation is alright, but there's dozens of these new threads everyday with pointless ideas about these two legendaries. There's enough speculation as it is

Yin-Yang seems possible...

But if the DP ones were night and day...then what were Ho-oh and Lugia? I always thought those (somewhat) represented night and day. Maybe not as obviously as Groudon and Kyogre (and Rayquaza) represented land and sea (and sky), but still...yeah.
