• Hi all. We have had reports of member's signatures being edited to include malicious content. You can rest assured this wasn't done by staff and we can find no indication that the forums themselves have been compromised.

However, remember to keep your passwords secure. If you use similar logins on multiple sites, people and even bots may be able to access your account.

We always recommend using unique passwords and enable two-factor authentication if possible. Make sure you are secure.

just a thought here, i have been noticing that every once a while some of the older inactive groups on the last pages of the forum's grouplist are deleted, now is it a fact that most groups on this site are not the most active places (afterall why stick to a group if we have an entire forum to discuss things at) so i was wondering if it might not be a better idea to delete only the duplicates and groups that violate the rules instead.

this way the forum ensures that over time everybody has a group to indentify themselves with without having the possible risk of having it deleted in case of inactivity which often occurs. afterall we are part of a large community personaly i think this might be an idea to strive for.

how do you guys think of it?

If social groups are too old, then there's no point keeping them really. Just wait a bit, then remake it if it gets deleted from inactivity.

Or, you could advertise your favourite social group to prevent it from getting too inactive. Like I'm doing with my sig.

Isn't this more of a serebii forums suggestion?

The SPPf Suggestion Thread exists for a reason.

But I'll answer it as I close it, if the group is inactive, that shows that there's not enough interest in the group to keep it going. Why bother keeping something that isn't interesting enough to people for them to post in it?
