G/S remake, or a new adventure set in Johto?

Had to make this again, as the other thread didn't have a poll option (the forums messed up).

So, which one would you prefer? Post your thoughts.

I would like a new adventure set in Johto (the same gym leaders would be there).

EDIT: Let me just clear two things up;

1. Not too fussed option = Both or, well, not too fussed either way.

2. Don't get me wrong, I would still purchase a remake if it was released (hey; my Johto pokemon need to go somewhere other than the Sevii Islands), but I really want a new adventure set in Johto, with NO KANTO. I mean come on, it's been in 9 games for crying out loud; Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, Crystal, Fire Red and Leaf Green. Don't you people get tired of seeing it?

A teeny bit of my post from the link said:
3rd gen Ru/Sa/Em - Hoenn, Battle Frontier, World's Edge Island and Southern Island.

3rd gen Fr/Lg - Kanto and Sevii Islands.

AND

4th gen D/P/P (Platinum) - Shinou, Battle Zone and ??? (there could be a new extra island or minor region in Platinum, or the Distortion/Torn World if that counts).

4th gen G/S remake or A brand new adventure set in Johto - Johto, & ????

That pattern would be broken if they left Kanto back in. Plus, Johto would most likely not get to show its full potential (I'm not saying it will never, however).

In terms of the major regions, they each got their own games (Kanto, Hoenn and Shinnou) and Johto is the only one that didn't because Kanto was next to it. In these new Johto games, there could be NO Kanto and just be Johto with its improvements and either a set of islands or a smaller, minor non-linked region accessible after defeating the Johto exclusive Elite 4. I just highly doubt they would remove Kanto in the G/S remakes, even though they really should...

Why would you take out Kanto? i like the idea of collecting.....32 badges. I think a game where you can get all the badges from all the regions would be fun.

Because having it there is pointless. We have an advanced Kanto already, in Fire Red and Leaf Green. We don't need it again. If they brought that in, we'd have a whole bunch of people wanting a Hoenn remake, it won't end.

Also, the main focus of the G/S games is Johto and it's 100 Pokémon, not Kanto. The Johto pokemon were introduced badly, and in a small amount for a new pokemon game (100 new pokemon was a pretty poor amount IMO, they could've added a lot more Pokemon then that surely) and in the 3rd generation, spread across a lot of games. We don't need two major regions in one game.

new Johto game = very yes...

my first game was a pokemon gold! i love the johto games and when they made the fire red and leaf green the first thing i thought of was (so when will the jotho remake be out?)

they must!!

I'm all for a GSC remake, but don't you dare remove Kanto.

More badges = more playtime.

They should've mixed up the wild pokes a bit more in the 2nd gen. Kinda lame how you go through Viridian forest and encounter lvl 7 pokes when your team's in the 50s.

Anyway... I would like a new adventure as I would rathar see a Johto which was more developed than the same undeveloped Johto plus Kanto in a remake.

Remake, because it'd be awesome to see all the good stuff back, and some more stuff, like the islands in LG/FR...and TBH I haven't played G/S/C, but I hope they make a remake so I make it up.
