Here in Holland I never read the manga, but thanks to Serebii.net I now know what's it about. Thanks! ^^ But then I came to the site Wikipedia (you guys know that?) And I found this:
Steven is the son of Devon Co.'s owner, Mr. Stone. He enjoys collecting rare rocks, like his game and anime counterparts. He meets Ruby in Granite Cave, Dewford Town. Although he is a minor character then, he later gives up his position as champion to Wallace (Sootopolis's Gym Leader) with a premonition that he will die in battle. It is unsure of whether Steven has really perished in the battle against Kyogre and Groudon, but he played a huge part in the battle. By awakening the three Regi's and riding them (literally) in to battle.
Guys, is this true? Has Steven died during that battle?
