GWSC - Tournament poll week 1

ANYONE CAN VOTE
This is the poll of the first week of the GWSC Tournament!

Since the GWSC is getting one year old, we decided to do a tournament.
Everyone (experience or not) can enter. For further information click here!
One aspect is that the participants are anonymous. So below there are all the entries shown, but not the artists who made it.

For this tournament you can give one vote for each division. This will give the participants point so at the end of the 3 weeks, the one with the most points wins. The point-system in shown below:

- For entering: 5 point
- For each point the entry gets: 1 point
- For having the winning entry: 5 points (for first), 3(for second), 1(for third)

For the beginner's division I vote Mystery artist 1's Kangaskhan.

For the pro division I vote for mystery artist 3's Swallot. It's a really creative interpretation of the concept!

This was a tough choice. The Pro Division has given a great deal of wonderful contenders, however, on;y one will get my vote.

Scrafty's artist did a great job with a scratched sprite, and the concept is great, however it looks like part of it's mohawk is missing. Also, the shading on one of the legs looks off, making it look as if there's light, while him leaning forward should have created a shadow on it.

Typhlosion was a nice concept, however most of the ice crystals look like they're on the opposite side of it's neck. And there's no shading to indicate that some of those crystals are above it's body.

Swalot is really clever. The concept it great, however I feel the shading on the head could've been better, as well a bit more circular. The cone would've been nice with a waffle cone imprint on it, as well as not being curved.

Goodra to me looks like a simple recolour, and I don't feel it really fits the goal for this week.

My vote goes to...

Swalot's mystery artist.

Now for the pro, its a bit more difficult, I absolutely love the Goodra and the Swalot...But I think I'm going to Vote: Pro mystery artist 3 - Swallot

Beginner Division, I choose the Kanghaskan, the colors make it look like the Pokemon was really burned.

Pro Division, I choose the Swallot. I love how they recreated the original Swallot and it's looks with Gulpin!

Kangaskhan for Beginner.

Man goodra was a really nice approach but it didn't get there. It needed bolder lines and more highlight/shading :c . I admit it took me a while to work out why people thought swalot was awesome (I thought it was a cactus or something xD). Scrafty really confuses me, I can't make it out properly and the lines aren't so clear.

Typhlosion is my vote for Advanced.
