What does everyone think of this set?

Gyarados - Adamant - Leftovers
-Body Slam
-Thunder Wave
-Dragon Dance
-Earthquake

I figure, paralyze them from the start, then DD away, letting Leftovers heal him if the opponent manages to land a hit. Then I unleash some Body Slams or EQ's accordingly.

Why use body slam if they're already paralyzed? I'm no expert, but I would say you just use return cuz it's stronger. Or hp flying, if you care to get it (I never would).

Got nothing else to offer, though...

Arriving glacially.
Gyarados@Leftovers
Adamant
Hidden Power Flying
Earthquake
Taunt
Dragon Dance

U could use Return if u can't get a strong Hidden Power Flying since getting a good Hidden Power is hard.

I prefer Body Slam over Return. It's a matter of preference.

Hydro Pump? No way. Not with a nature like Adamant and a Sp Atk of 60.

You want hydro pump because you probably want to beat rock, and there aren't many other moves that could work there IMO..
I wish Gyrados could learn aerial ace...

It looks like it can learn Areoblast IMO. Hydropump because it has STAB and because Ground and Rock pokemon are going to be a pain.

I guess you got a point with Hydro Pump, but still, it's not powerful enough.

It has an accuracy of only 85, and Gyarados' Sp Atk is just 60. Not good enough.

Well, rock pokemon can be taken out by earthquake, but I see how Hydro Pump could work. I don't see why u should use T-Wave, Dragon Dance already makes u fast enough. Either way, I think Taunt beats all of them IMO becuz it lets u prevent other pokemon from phazing u as wells as disabling them of using their own stat-upping moves.

well it also makes the opponont have a 1 in 2 chance not moving so that is useful while setting up a few DDs

Yeah, not to mention how useful it is in a double battle.
