Why does Gyarados always have its mouth open its werid
I mean does he have a cavity or something? Even when they
smile there mouths are open, then how do they eat?

Well, it's got large, pointed teeth, and it's intended on being a "scarier" Pokemon, to they fit well together. How does always having your mouth open have anything to do with eating? If you mean things like chewing, it really depends on what you mean by an open mouth. To me, it's if your lips are apart. You can chew with your mouth open (on my terms).

Just because it's mouth appears open, doesn't mean it's always open. It most likely eats like everything else.

Well,when I was whaching pokemon the other daythe trainer had out a Gyarados
and for the entire episode its mouth was open.

Ugh, I was thinking the exact same thing.

Anyway, I don't think it ALWAYS has its mouth open. I think in one episode of Pokemon it had its mouth closed, but not entirely sure. >.o

It doesn't always have its mouth open. In Stadium, Snap, Colloseum and XD, it closes its mouth before using a ranged attack like Hydro Pump. IIRC, there is also an episode in the anime where it closes its mouth.

And in one of the episodes misty had a flashback of when she was a baby, she crawled into gyarados's mouth and gyarados closed it.

Have you ever seen a gyrados with closed mouth in 3D games? They don´t would like to look ugly and weak like that...

In pokemon Snap when you take a Photo of it, it mainly has its mouth closed

His mouth functions just like any mouth, it opens it closes. perhaps his jaw is heavy and it's just easier to keep it opened more often then not. think of it this way. stick your arms out to your side so you look like a "T". easy to do. However keep holding them there, see if you can do it all day. i bet you can't.
it's mouth works the same way, Easy to close, easier to leave open

In the 3D games Gyrados shuts its mouth a few times (when it uses Surf, Flamethrower, T-bolt, Ice beam, Hydro pump, and a few other moves and also when if faints.)

Why doesnt anyone wonder why Magikarp and Remoriad and stuff also always keep its mouth open.
