Gym Leader Re-Match

When it is the 5th re-match battle with a gym leader, is that the last time that you can battle them, or is it possible to fight them for a sixth time, but their pokemon do not grown anymore levels?

You can battle gym leaders infinite times, but they stop growing after the 5th match.

Yes, Emerald is the only version compatible with rebattling gym leaders. I thought after the 5th fight they stop fighting you... seems I am wrong...

You have to beat the Elite 4 before they rematch you. In my game, Roxanne was ready almost immediately after I was sent back to Littleroot. I've PWNED her and Flannery, and have Winona and the twins waiting.

not really you must defeat the elite four to fight them...sometimes,when i am training my pokemon,the gym leader also wants a rematch with me...
