What about Brycen and Drayden? Oh wait... Brycen stars in PokeWood (I think) and Drayden just becomes the full-time mayor of Opelucid City. I think this is pretty good, with the orders and the team rosters. The thing about Skyla refusing to battle you is an interesting idea.

I still wonder what happened to the Striaton Triplets, though. I honestly hope they don't turn out to be the Shadow Triad...

Why get rid of Iris's Haxorus? Just give her an Altaria instead of that level 48 Fraxure.. Haxorus instead of that Zweilous and maybe a Deino or Zweilous instead of the Dragonair.

Bold=What I can't see happening. I would love for Cheren to end up with an Eevee but after watching the introduction movie, I think he'll have a Herdier. As for Homika, she'll hopefully have a Whirlipede to be challenging. Oh what the heck, I'll post my predictions:

Gym Leader 1: Cheren
[IMG139]http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/504.gif[/IMG139] [IMG139]http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/507.gif[/IMG139]

Gym Leader 2: Homika
[IMG139]http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/109.gif[/IMG139] [IMG139]http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/544.gif[/IMG139]

Gym Leader 3: Burgh
[IMG139]http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/557.gif[/IMG139] [IMG139]http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/416.gif[/IMG139] [IMG139]http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/542.gif[/IMG139]

Gym Leader 4: Elesa
[IMG139]http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/587.gif[/IMG139] [IMG139]http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/180.gif[/IMG139] [IMG139]http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/523.gif[/IMG139]

Gym Leader 5: Clay
[IMG139]http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/552.gif[/IMG139] [IMG139]http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/247.gif[/IMG139] [IMG139]http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/530.gif[/IMG139]

Gym Leader 6: Skyla
[IMG139]http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/521f.gif[/IMG139] [IMG139]http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/468.gif[/IMG139] [IMG139]http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/581.gif[/IMG139]

At this point, I can see Skyla offering to fly you in her plane over to the city where Shizui's gym is, then either being flown back to go to Opelucid or just going to Opelucid from the water gym city.

Gym Leader 7: Shizui
[IMG139]http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/537.gif[/IMG139] [IMG139]http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/319.gif[/IMG139] [IMG139]http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/224.gif[/IMG139] [IMG139]http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/565.gif[/IMG139]

I think I'll post the gym rematches teams later as well as elite four too.

Shizui is confirmed to have 3 Pokémon. I would like for the 8th Gym to have 4 though.

..Silence..
Herdier would be a great fit for Cheren, quite a challenge for the first Gym.
With there being so many Dragons available in the new dex, Iris should have an interesting team :]

Then explain how that would work if rematches return.

They could just give him back his old team in the rematch.. and replace his starter with whatever Eeveeloution is strong against your starter. So if you picked Serperior he'd have Flareon if you picked Emboar he'd have Vaporeon and Samurott he'd have Leafeon.

The silent boy of mystery!
For the confirmed Gym Leaders, my prediction are:

-Cheren: Patrat, Herdier - 1st Gym Leader
-Homika: Koffing, Whirlipede - 2nd Gym Leader
-Elesa: Flaffy, Emolga, Zebstrika - 4th Gym Leader
-Shizui: Lombre, Sharpedo, Seismitoad - 5th Gym Leader
-Skyla: Togetic, Unfezant, Skarmory, Swanna - 7th Gym Leader

i am all in favour of new gyms, wouldnt mind facing old ones again as long as they have different pokemon in their teams. it would also be great to have a rematch against these gym leaders just like in platinum and emerald, it was a great feature which unfortunately wasnt available in black and white. it'd also be good for different elite four members too, battling the same pokemon shouldnt and probably and hopefully wont happen.

I don't think so. Now that he's a Normal-type Leader, he should use a Normal-type team in the rematch.

What makes Cheren not use an Eevee in his possible rematch-team as well? It does sound a bit underwhelming though... but it would solve the whole Normal-type issue.

its a nice thought but no...a normal type gym leader should use a normal type team, not a diversity team otherwise he should be a diversity trainer like gary/blue or any other rival, i'd like to see eevee used in the 1st match (assuming there will be rematches), but the problem with that is that eevee doesnt evolve into a normal type, it evolves into 1 of 7 different types none of them being normal, and thats why i think eevee shouldnt and won't be cherens 2nd and stronger pokemon, i think it will be lillipup/herdier, herdier would be good. based on what we know of the new unova pokedex, there is also the unlikely possibility that his 2nd pokemon (patrat has already been confirmed) could be either: - eevee, azurill, buneary, zangoose, skitty, pidove. But i think Herdier would be the best. he does have unfezant as a rival in his b/w team, unfezant being a normal type, maybe we will see it in his rematch team (again, assuming rematches will happen).

battling the same pokemon shouldnt and probably and hopefully wont happen.

We most likely wont battle the same exact Pokemon for anyone, but, we most likely, and will be battling some same Pokemon for most likely everyone. Elesa has Emolga and Zebstrika based on the promo, I'd assume the Gym Leaders and Elite Four who stay from the last game will have 1 or two changes, but not their whole team.

I'd have a issue with battling the same Pokemon, there probably will be rematches, you can battle some more new additions then.

In terms of gyms, I see it staying how it was in terms of numbers:
1st gym-2 Pokemon confirmed. Patrat(Level 11) confirmed. Not sure on Cheren's second Pokemon, I'm still waiting to know if his text was translated or not to know if what he said with Patrat would give a hint to which one it is. Regardless, I see him with Lillipup(Level 13 if it's his final Pokemon, Level 9 if it's his first Pokemon), maybe Herdier(Level 13), because he's got a Stoutland in the promo, plus I'm sure it'll be seen before battling him, which fits with the format of the Black and White Regional Dex which I assume will be the same this time around as well. I'm certain Work Up will be given as the TM.

2nd gym-2 Pokemon confirmed. Koffing confirmed, I'd hope for a level of 18-22. I'm going to say she'll have a Whirlipede as her final Pokemon(Level 20-22, depending on Koffing's level). Venoshock I'm certain will be the TM.

3rd gym-Nothing known aside from a small little outline of the badge which only matches Burgh's Insect Badge, but possibly could be Shizui's, but I'm leaning more to it being the Insect Badge and I don't see him leaving. Three Pokemon for him again I'd say, keeping Dwebble(Level depends on Homika's Pokemon, around low to mid 20's though), and Leavanny(mid 20's for level), replaces Whirlipede for something new(Well...old...er non-fifth generation Pokemon), not sure what but preferably something lesser used, will be same level as Dwebble. Same TM.

4th gym-Nothing known, I'm going to assume it's Elesa's though. Three Pokemon still, of which are Emolga(Level 28), Flaaffy(Level 28), and Zebstrika(Level 30), Flaaffy who is confirmed(Level I believe is 28) and Emolga and Zebstrika who are likely confirmed based on the promo. Same TM.

5th gym-Nothing known, I'll say it's Clay though. Again, three Pokemon, I'll say he'll keep Excadrill, not sure on Krokorok and Palpitoad, replaces one of them for a non-fifth generation Pokemon, I'd assume the levels would be mid 30's. Same TM.

6th gym-Nothing known, I'm thinking Skyla. Three Pokemon again, keeping I don't know, replacing I don't know, maybe she can have two replaces on her team, levels being high 30's. Same TM.

7th gym-Nothing known, I'd say it's Shizui. Three Pokemon for him is confirmed. Not going to bother trying to figure out what he may have, levels low 40's to mid 40's. Scald for the TM I would assume.

8th gym-Nothing known, I believe it will be Iris and Drayden again, only switched this time. Three Pokemon for both, replaces Haxorus, both have the same Pokemon as eachother aside from a few differences(Gender and Ability), levels end with high 40's.

Elite Four-4 Pokemon each again, same format as before, same members as before, everyone replaces two Pokemon for non-fifth generation Pokemon. Levels are Ended at 55 or so.

Champion-I'm thinking Alder is still champion, changes most of his team, levels end at like level 60.

I was actually hoping for the Elite 4 to use 6 Pokémon. 4 Pokémon, even at level 48 and 50, is still too easy for an Elite 4.

I'm sure they'll never use 6 Pokemon outside of rematches. They have always used 5, and I assume they were drop to 4, as it fits better for them as they are the Elite Four, so having 4 Pokemon would make sense for them.

Also, it's only easy if you make it easy. If you use more then four Pokemon against them, if you have higher levels then them, if you're using nothing by type advantages against them, etc... then it's not going to be a hard battle and that's all on you. You have the option of making it more difficult if you so please.
