Problem
Pearl is a default name for the rival. His name is Pearl then. so i don'tknow what your talking about?

Are you seriously fighting over names? I mean really, what has gotten into you people?

LOL :D

Can we discuss what we hope the puzzles will be like? Or is there a seperate thread for that?

If Blue will be renamed 'Green', then perhaps he could say something like:
"Yeah, the whole Blue thing was just... making me feel Blue. Now I'm Green. Green's got a much better vibe!"
Okay, that sucked epicly. XD

If there were to be a 3rd 'Rival' from this game - y'know, a Kanto Girl, perhaps she could be outside of the Verm. Port, then take you to Oak's Lab. Heal your Pokes; then battle you? IDK...

As with most people, I'd like to see the levels boosted.

Why would they change Blue's name to Green? If it was Blue in GSC, it'll be Blue in HGSS. And Pearl is the default name for the DPPt rival, and I always thought that Leaf was the default name for the FRLG girl.

Faulkner:
- I'd have a hacked Hoothoot that knows a damaging Psychic attack.
- Give Spearow a move like Puirsuit or Uproar so it has more variety.

Bugsy:
- Replace his TM for X-Scissor, as battling him would be very finicky.
- Swap Ledian for another Pokemon, maybe something on the Caterpie line.

Whitney:
- Looking good so far

Morty:
- Give his Gengar, Shadow Ball, Hypnosis, Dream Eater and Shadow Claw

Chuck:
- Chuck would seem better with a Machoke instead of a Heracross,

Jasmine:
- Looking pretty fine too me, nothing wrong here.

Pryce:
- Fine yet again

Clair:
- Ewww, Arcanine, swap it for a Dragonair with a different moveset, Arcanine doesn't fit in here at all.

Well, we all know Red will be Red. Green might be renamed Green in the US, it would make sense...If Leaf is in, I really doubt she would be called Leaf, as that is just a fanmade name.

for once, i agree 100%. but i actually woudnt be surprised if they just gave the three actual names, not color based ones.

I have to agree with that about the names...Who on earth would name there child named Silver or Gold? Like in Diamond in pearl there was Dawn and Lucas. Real names, Not elements lol. I'd really like to see them using a real name rather gamefreak simpily call them Silver or Gold.

It would be nice if they were called actually names this time round in the remakes.
It would cause some controversy if the other player was called Jimmy or Marina though, especially as many people want Marina to return.

Jasmine IS gonna have a Magneton, remember she always caries a Magnimitearound wih her right?!

And people are stil putting Arcanie on Clair's roster? *gasp*
A lot of people like the idea of Arcanine.

Meh, they should just add in Altaria and Flygon to the Johto dex for Clair. XD

Even better that the Johto dex has changed (but we don't know how much though...) and Arcanine is confirmed along with Lapras (How Ironic:p) Maybe there adding more pokemon to her team that are gen III/IV

Lance is the Champion, he DEFINITELY should NOT have a Dragonair. He needs a Kingdra in there.

Wasn't Gengar Karen's main Pokemon or something? I don't know, I'd get rid of Murkrow. It sucks.

Bruno needs Steelix, not Onix.

Where'd Koga's Forretress go? :/ I'd rather get rid of Venomoth or Ariados.

And I think will should have an Espeon or Alakazam.

They didn't add Flygon/Altaria, but it looks like they added another dragon to the Pokédex.

A dragonfly.

THAT dragonfly!
