Am i the only one who spent their whole life thinking Bugsy was a girl?

I thought Bugsy was a girl, too.
That's because all of the Bug-type specialists so far have this odd "sexually ambiguous" thing going on. Aaron had it too, as I once thought that he was actually a she in Diamond haha. Bugsy on the other hand, has a team of all-female Pokemon, something he shares with Will for some reason, despite both being males. A hint perhaps?

I love HGSS, but I do not like the idea of having to track down and hunt the Gym Leaders just to get phone numbers, then try to call them at different times. That's my only complaint. Otherwise they're amazing, especially during the rematches.
Well... I beat every gym leader and later I'll hunt them down for their numbers... But I want to explore Mt. Silver. Heh. Anyone else think that the Elite Four should have changed when you got the Kanto badges?

But yes, it is worth it in the end. Not only for the exp., but who doesn't want to battle their favorite gym leader(s) over and over again? :3

Hmm... If you ask me, it might be a reference to the gender-related oddities of Bug-type pokemon (Vespiquen can only be female, Burmy evolves into different pokemon depending on its gender, etc.).
But it also could be a reference to real-world bugs - of course, it is hard to tell the gender of real-world bugs. Take black widow spiders for instance; you would think the female would be smaller than the male, but this is not the case.
It is worth it, and I'm so glad that HG and SS gave us the chance to rebattle Gym Leaders. I mean, apart from the experience gained via those rematch battles with the Gym Leaders, there's also that lovely battle music. In the original G/S/C, the Johto Gym battle theme could be heard again at the League, but the Kanto Gym battle music couldn't be heard again. Thankfully, HG/SS solved that problem.
So you think that Bugsy was given female Bug-type Pokemon, because it's a reference to the gender-related oddities of real-world bugs? I don't know if I'd go with that. While I can certainly see how Game Freak might have noticed that and implemented it in the games, I think it's quite a stretch. I mean, Will also has a team of all-female Pokemon, despite the fact that he specializes in Psychic-types. I think it could be a hint at their...preference of company, if you get what I mean.
