Gym Leaders / Elite Four Discussion

There does not seem like much more needs to be discussed. Most everyone agrees that the Johto gym and Elite Four/Champion rosters in Heart Gold and Soul Silver should be altered and leveled up. Most everyone agrees on which Pokemon should be used in each of the gyms, with a few exceptions here and there. Unless anyone has something new to add to this discussion, what else is there to talk about?

I just think they should be leveled up...an original Elite Four for Johto would be cool, but I doubt that's gonna happen.

And why would he need a "Terratora" to beat bertha? Just train your pokemon. God....
And what pokemon does he have, Six pikachus?
If he can't beat bertha, how can he beat the rest of the elite four.
There are other pokemon that can beat bertha than terratora

I think that there should be more of a challenge when it comes to the event battles. I live Johto, but it was much too easy to conquer =(... I kind of hope that 3rd gen/4th gen pokemon aren't put in the region, but whatever... If they are put in, I hope there isn't an abundance of them. Maybe a Starly here and a Shinx there... I always got frustraighted about not getting an electric until AFTER the flying gym... Haha oh well. I think a skarmory in falkner's team would be pretty cool, but for the people who don't pick Cyndiquil, it would be near impossible. Haha well, here is part of my 2 cents

^ Hm. if i were you, you should level up roselia. Al least to level 55 maybe. Just go back to victory road and train. Even level up Floatzel to maybe 45. And if you can, evolve roselia with a shiny stone (found at iron island )

1) Meh, understandable
2) Yanma? Maybe. and it's Bugsy
3) Linoone = National dex.
4) Morty is a GHOST gym leader, not a dark gym leader...Misdreavus if anything
5) Hitmonchan? No. If anything should be added, it should be Hitmontop
6) Bronzor = National dex
7) Smoochum is too under-leveled for a late-gym like Pryce
8) Gabite = National Dex.

I think it is very, very, very, very unlikely we'll see 3rd and 4th generation pokémon pre-national dex.

Whatever, that Miltank wasn't that strong. Gold & Silver were the most fun, and easiest to beat.

Well, in Colosseum when I beat Evice the first time before I restarted, I only had 1 HP left on my Suicune, which was my last Pokemon, and I got a critical hit with surf and I won. That was a close call. But I crushed Whitney with my Croconaw.

Falker really needs to up his game,throw a Noctowl in and crank up the levels.

Bugsy is fine, just higher levelled and maybe a Herracross.

Whitney could be made very interesting, she was quite hard last time with that Miltank, maybe they could make her a double battle? Or maybe add a solid Blissey to go with that Miltank, they could even add a Girafarig to stop me sweeping them all down with 1 fighting move. Also higher levels.

Morty was pathetically easy, higher levels goes without saying, definately a Misdreavus, Pokes of a different type would also go down well.

Chuck just needs higher levels and perhaps a flying pokemon to explain why his wife needs the HM.

Jasmine's Gym could use some interior designing and some trainers. She needs higher levels and a Skarmory and Magneton.

Pryce only needs higher levels.

Claire needs higher levels and at this stage in the game, a full party and pokes of different types, let's not make this easy.
