Meowth Man-27

Meowth Trainer
Yes, Arcanine seems like a great idea, as does Lapras.

Lapras/Arcanine/Dragonair/Kingdra

Yes...that seems like a great lineup. They should definitely base Claire on Dragon movesets, instead of specifically Dragon Pokemon - it works out MUCH better.

Falkner -
HootHoot - Level 12
Natu - Level 12
Pidgeotto - Level 14

Bugsy -
Ledian - Level 19
Yanma - Level 19
Scyther - Level 22

Whitney -
Clefairy - Level 27
Granbull - Level 27
Miltank - Level 30

Morty -
Haunter - Level 28
Misdreavus - Level 28
Gengar - Level 31

Chuck -
Hitmontop - Level 34
Poliwrath - Level 34
Heracross - Level 36

Jasmine -
Magneton - Level 36
Skarmory - Level 37
Steelix - Level 38

Pryce -
Delibird - Level 38
Cloyster - Level 38
Sneasal - Level 40
Piloswine - Level 42

Claire -

Lapras - Level 46
Dragonair - Level 47
Arcanine - Level 49

Kingdra - Level 50

*sigh* That would be my ideal way to go....

I like it, but why does Morty bearly get any better than whitney, and Clair gets a 4 lv difference between her and Pryce. Bugsy jumps up 5 from Falkner, and whitney does the same to Bugsy.

Also some that can learn Dragon moves that have not already been mentioned (Some may learn these moves through breeding, move tutors, or level up)
Rhydon/ Rhyhorn (Dragon Pulse)
Onix/ Steelix (Dragon Pulse, Dragon Breath, Twister)
Kanghaskan (Outrage)
Venasaur (Outrage)
Primeape (Outrage)
Marowak (Outrage)
Tauros (Outrage)
Snorlax (Outrage)
Meganium (Outrage)
Ampharos (Outrage)
Pideot (Twister)
Butterfree (Twister)
Fearow (Twister)
Golbat/ Crobat (Twister)
Venomoth (Twister)
Farfetch'd (Twister)
Starmie (Twister)
Noctowl (Twister)
Xatu (Twister)
Murkrow (Twister)
Skarmory (Twister)
Hitmontop (Twister)

The ones that only know Twister and Outrage would necessarily fit well. But Onix and Steelix actually have a couple of moves.

ActionMan My only complaint is Misty lacks a Starmie, her signature Pokemon. Who would replace her in Kanto?

Meowth Man-27

Meowth Trainer
Falkner-
HootHoot - Level 16
Natu - Level 15
Pidgeotto - Level 18

Sprout Tower should prepare us enough for a level 18 Pidgeotto, the only problem would be those who chose Chikorita(Myself included) But if you managed to get through Sprout Tower with Chikorita you should be fine.

Bugsy-
Ledian - Level 20
Butterfree/Bedrill - Level 21 (Not completely version exclusive, but whichever one is harder to get on the game)
Scyther - Level 24

Sure it's awful high for the second gym match, but its a bug trainer. Half the people choose Cyndaquil anyways.

Whitney -
Clefairy - Level 26
Wigglytuff - Level 28
Granbull - Level 28
Miltank - Level 30

The gym leader that was always the hardest for me. That Milktank was pretty powerful at that stage in the game, Unlike all the others who after her were relatively easy.

Morty -
Haunter - Level 32
Haunter - Level 34
Misdreavus - Level 35
Gengar - Level 36

With a lack of ghost Pokemon, Haunter kinda has to stay, and starting with whitney, i think they should slowly get more than 3 pokemon.

Chuck -
Hitmontop - Level 38
Machoke - Level 38
Heracross - Level 39
Poliwrath - Level 40

He should have Poliwrath as his main, Heracross is a good addition, but wasn't in the original team.

Jasmine -
Skarmory - Level 42
Forretress - Level 43
Magneton - Level 44
Steelix - Level 46

The last bug type in my gym leader idea is Forretress, its a decent pokemon, and the only other option.

Pryce -
Delibird - Level 48
Dewgong - Level 49
Sneasel - Level 49
Cloyster - Level 50
Piloswine - Level 51

A pretty decent team besides delibird. He's really not that important in my book because Team Rocket overshadows him.

Claire -
Lapras - Level 53
Dragonair - Level 53
Meganium - Level 54
Arcanine - Level 54
Kingdra - Level 55

She Finally gets a decent team. Meganiums in there because it can learn a dragon move, and it adds a little suprise. She now rivals Giovanni(Yellow) as the Strongest Gym Leader ever.

I like your idea.

I agree with Meowth Man, but a couple things:

I feel their levels should be 3-4 levels lower.
I feel as if Whitney should have a Jigglypuff and a Snubble initially.
I feel that Jasmine would probably have another Magneton over Forretress initially.
Pryce doesnt need Delibird 8P
And Claire should have a Gyarados and another Dragonair over Meganuim and Arcanine.

But otherwise, I agree fully. Those are the gym leader's I'd love to fight.

I agree with Meowth Man, but a couple things:

I feel their levels should be 3-4 levels lower.
I feel as if Whitney should have a Jigglypuff and a Snubble initially.

Pryce doesnt need Delibird 8P
And Claire should have a Gyarados and another Dragonair over Meganuim and Arcanine.

But otherwise, I agree fully. Those are the gym leader's I'd love to fight.

The levels IMO were perfect and challenging. It would be a biger challenge than 3-4 levels down.
I guess Jigglypuff and Snubbull wouldn't hurt her team
I don't want to see the same pokemon 2 times in a gym leaders lineup its kinda boring. Forretress would be an added challenge over another Magneton
I agree Pryce does not need Delibird
No!!!! WE want Claire and Lance to be different. Giving her a Gyarados and another Dragonair is not only boring but almost another Lance team. Keep Meganium, Arcnaine, Dragonair, and Feraligatr. It would be so boring to face the exact same team again.

I like it, but why does Morty bearly get any better than whitney, and Clair gets a 4 lv difference between her and Pryce. Bugsy jumps up 5 from Falkner, and whitney does the same to Bugsy.
I copied the levels from the Sinnoh Gym Leaders, as I thought they were fair. I'm guessing there will be more to do inbetween each gym so that will allow level ups.

maxelle

Shadow Stalker
Yeah cause in between Falkner and Bugsy you have the Slowpoke Tail thing and in between Whitney and Morty their isn't much. But In between Pryce and Claire is Ice Path, plus the fact you battle Team Rocket about X amount of times in Mahogany Town, and some trainers right before Blackthorne comes into the picture (I believe). So the levels would be fair.
