This trailer is frikkin sweet.Link. That's the entire shpeal on it, it's in game footage, and if you've ever played Halo 2, you know that cutscene graphics are the same stuff they use in gameplay. They also said they're going to make the graphics even better, if you aren't convinced (ROFL).

AMAZING. This trailer is just pure awsome. The music gave chills up my back and I just had to keep playing the trailer over and over again. Oh my goodness so amazing. Halo 3 all the way!!!

I hate the people who say this and that to the graphics.... Jesus, since when have graphics mattered so much to a game? Oh, if you look at this on my PC..... and then on the 360 it'll probably do the same or worse.... I just want to play the game, not criticize its graphics... And yes, I'll be picking this up on day one, as with Halo 2.

Video or demo, Halo 3 will still have great graphics, good gameplay, and have the same AI we know and love when it's released...even though it does have a chance it might be worse than 2, since empires can be so powerful.

After a whole day of energy repressing yesterday, I completely spazzed out when I heard this. I'm sure all the neighbours know now too. I just hope that Halo novels can tie into this one a bit better, or that the next novel reaches us before the game.
It was...at the end of Halo 2...kind of implied the Ark was on Earth's surface ^_^; Kinda hard not to guess that that's where Halo 3 would take place. At least part of the time.
I think Cortana has been twisted by Gravemind, to be honest. Why else would their voices be in sync until the last sentence? And I believe she's sending messages to John (Or, for those of you who haven't read the books/don't consider them canon, Master Chief.) Hence why the audio/visual are all scratchy. They're a galaxy (according to the site) apart.
I hope the Arbiter appears in it. Despite other's opinions, I liked playing as him. It was fresh, it was new, and etc.
I hope so. Otherwise I'll personally drive to Bungie's headquarters (They're only about 3 hours from me

Now, as for the trailer...
I LOVED the music. The trumpets...the piano...the theme...just EXCELLENT. Watching the Chief walk through the dust and smoke was awesome, and the chilling words of Cortana...just wow.
I, personally, can't WAIT for this game to come out. I want to take it to the Flood and the Covenant, one final time.

I LOVE the whole HALO franchaise. I saw this one bungie.net and i began sweeting...(maybe not sweating but i got all hyped..) this is great news, now with a new halo, the xbox 360 stands a HUGE chance to overcome the hype of the ps3

Rampant? Not to be stupid, but what does that mean? I only have the first game for the mac, and I remember Cortana used the term on the first level if you killed enough UNSC forces, but I thought it just meant crazy. Is that right? I know she was trapped with the flood's boss from Wikipedia, but has she turned evil? BTW, I'm glad the Assault Rifle is back. Man I loved that baby.
