Well Halo 3 went on sale this week and it's sold great. But I don't understand what's so exciting about a new Halo game. It's just another FPS to add to the other heaps FPS. You know what it's going to be.

I don't hate Halo but I'm just wondering why it's so popular?

Please enlighten me.

Halo is way Overrated. I personally prefer playing RE4 or Doom, or any other FPS.

LIKE A BOSS!
Halo 1: Awesome, a real fresh look for sci-fi shooters.
Halo 2: Story wasn't as good, but now you can dual wield.
Halo 3: The climatic storyline, the return of the dual-wield, and weapons holstered when not in use.

The dual wielding was crap in Halo 2.

I wonder who made that Post Slick????

Actually Halo 2's dual wielding was one of the first games I've seen dual wielding done right: independent triggers. I never really liked the fact that if you could dual wield, you were still assigned one button and the guns fire alternatively.

But it wasn't the first to have independently triggered dual wielding, a Half-Life mod called The Specialists had independently triggered dual wielding before Halo 2.
I must agree with you 100%
Halo 2 & 3 had amazing Duel Wielding

What? You think this is just another fps. Sorry, I have to be another halo fanboy. The genre doesn't suck and in my opinion and the halo series is awesome.
