Well I havent been here in a while. So I decided to try and become more active and what better way to start then by posting up my new drawings that I did today!! The first two you might recognize because I copyed them from the covers of my two favorite books!

I am starting on a fourth dragon now. I am attempting to turn my dragon pokemon Dragowth into a relistic looking dragon (head and neck only).

These are beautiful. Very well drawn. I reconize the first two, but I haven't seen the third dragon before. Is it of another book, or did you make it up?
I hope to see more!

Sorry I don't like trace art, so even those first two are good copies from the Eragon books, they are that. Copies. The only one I really like is the third one, as atleast I know it should be original, and not something copied. But I'm still iffy on it as I'm not sure if it's original or not. So yeah you're good, but copying art is something anyone with a bit of talent and tracing paper can do .-.

I object that statement.
Firstly, anyone with a bit of talent and tracing paper can draw a picture of Pikachu, but it sometimes takes real talent, determination and patience to copy something really detailed and difficult like the dragons of Eragon.
Secondly, how is it unnoriginal? So now it's unnoriginal to copy a picture you probably don't know anyone else whom has attempted to draw and Eragon dragon, is it?

And who says it's copied? Maybe she's just incredibly good at what she does. Notice (Take this as Constructive critisism, RocketMeowth) that on the second picture the right half of the dragon's face is slighty off a notch? If it were traced, it would be perfect.

Now then. Yeah, The Eragon series is the latest craze at my school, and I'm always hearing about it, hence the reason I waiting till it dies down a bit to read it, because I afraid some hardcore fan might jump out of nowhere and mouth off major spoilers in my face. *Cough* Rob *Cough*
Ahem >:)

Love to see some more!

I dont trace and thankyou for all the comments. And yes, I made the tthird one up.

atomicmonkey: I really cant fix them. I put to much detail and shadeing into them to be able to change them a bit without messing them up. But I know the second one is off a bit. It was the first one I drew because I had to get my Eragon book back from my friend.

And I am makeing more right now.

Sorry for double posting but here is the Dragowth one.

Dragowth has no scales since he is just Meowth mutated with the black collar that is on his neck. So I expiremented with fur today and i got that. What do you guys think?

Actually, it's kind of hard tracing pictures on looseleaf paper, unless you have a light box. But anyway, i like how you did the shading in each and every piece, and the newest one is great as well. The way you shaded made it really look like fur, plus i think i see a little of your class notes in there as well. XD

Besides the Inheritance (it's the Inheritance trilogy, not just Eragon, people!) dragons being a bit out of proportions, you are obviously dedictaed to your works *gawks at all those little scales* You just might want to add lighter values to your drawings as well.

My favorite is the Meowth dragon. The ones that attempt the new are always my favorites!

I see you're studying the Civil War...

xD History notes!! I totally didnt notice those till you guys pointed them out. lol

Anyways, I am very dedicated to my work and I will try a lighter medium in my next picture. I am doing another Dragowth one but this one is of him flying through the air.

once it is complete I will post it up for you guys to see.
